Clippers to cover Lakers' banners for home games

I have no idea they were both playing at the staples center, i seriously thought only the lakers were there and the clippers played in some small arena around town

I hit about 10-12 Clipp games a year and it sucked seeing the banners at Clipper home games.. nobody liked it, people always commented on it. Its a great move imo and it should've been done years ago. And its not a diss on the Lakers. Everybody knows they're a winning organization, but the banners needed to be covered during Clipper home games to make it truly a clipper home game. The banners are huge and too dominating. They're great for Laker games but they're an albatross for Clipper games

as long as they cover the kings/sparks/avengers banners too no problem with it. It aint the lakers fault the clips the only team in LA not to win a ring
As a Lakers fan, I have no problem with this. Although as it's been pointed out, a little bizarre to have pictures of Barnes and Dudley covering up the displays. At least have some Clippers greats like Michael Olowokandi and Bo Kimble up there.

The Lakers and Clippers shack up with the Kings. Staples was originally built for the KIngs but they asked the Lakers and Clippers to move in as well when the arena was completed. Lakers left the Forum and the Clippers left the LA Sports Arena all in the same year
What's the big deal? It must be horrible to play for the clips and look up and there's GOAT franchise excellence all over the place. Honestly, they should of moved to San Diego ages ago.
