Isn't Shaker Heights pretty upscale? Can he afford that on $40k?

I would go with Louisville. Nashville two hours away. Atlanta five hours away. Louisville seems like a cool town from the times I've passed through.

I never been there but I hear Shaker Heights has a range. In the eastern part near University Heights is like the super expensive posh stuff and yeah he couldn't do that, but in the western part it seems like there are affordable apartments. Maybe @EndDomination could fill in the gaps since he used to live there.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Cleveland is not as bad as people make in my opinion. Ohio city alone would make me pick Cleveland over Louisville.

But nightlife in Louisville appeared better from what I saw when I was there.

Cleveland comes off as dead in most of the city. Also food wise I’m not sure. Cleveland food scene needs a lot of work. Cleveland in my opinion had the worst soul food I ever tried.
