This actually just makes me feel worse for the kid. His parents obviously have issues (drug dealing, assaults) and he's just playing by himself in a park with no parents to guide him. He's playing with a bb gun like tons of kids do, BUT DOESNT HURT ANYONE DURING THE LONG TIME HE'S IN THE PARK. Then a shook cac called for cops and scurried away, the dispatcher didn't tell the cops that the gun could be fake, and the cop drives up and quickly blasts. Kid didn't have a chance.

In the video he looks roughly about the same height as the squad car, which would make him about 5'3" ish.
I'm really running out of words to describe these situations. It seems like each one is becoming more heartbreaking than the previous. This kid's life was discarded without so much as a care to reason. The time for "peace" "calm" "understanding" "national conversation" and all these other buzz words are over, we need action.

Just awful, the video makes it even worse.
Imagine being that kid. 12 years old and playing alone with your BB gun in a park with no problems. Suddenly a dark car pulls up and out comes a man pointing a gun at you and maybe yelling at the same time. Then a split second later he fires. Even the top comments on ABC News were upset with the cops.
