i'm not even going to watch a video, but to think a 12 year old would engage in a live shootout with a grown ass cop is preposterous as a motherfukker. I'm sure the white supremacists are already finding ways to rationalize this wild black youth being put down.

A couple things...
Before coming into this thread I was ready to say the cops will get off for the sole reason Tamir clearly grabbed the gun from his waistband.
But...
A poster brought up a point that Tamir maybe had no idea who this was the police. They had no lights on and their markings the cop car are minimal.
Also, the angle and speed that they came at him, maybe put Tamir's mind in a place of self defense, which is why he grabs the BB gun.
