What I've read about Tamir Rice so far

• the boy’s name is Tamir Rice
• the person who called 911 told the operator multiple times that the gun was probably fake and the person with the gun was probably a kid
• that detail about the initial report doesn’t appear in news reports as much as I think it should — it’s just witnesses reported a male waving a gun around
• you can listen to the tape here
• the shooter was a rookie cop
• the cop shot twice
• as of 10 minutes ago (3:46pm 11/23) we don’t know if Tamir was hit by both shots
• he was hit in the stomach and died this morning

I think it's more complicated then that. If the boy was trying to make it look like he wanted me and the family then I would most likely result to shooting him. But if the boy was just shooting trees. No, but the whole reason I have a c/c is to protect my family.

I teach my boys never to pretend to shoot people, not even making their hands look like guns because you never know. I am not going to ask the boy if he has a bb gun. The boy knows better. Please don't be ignorant in the fact. He knows what he did was wrong and he was trying to get that fear factor from people.

I want to hear the dispatch tapes to see if the 9/11operstor told the cop that it might have been a bb gun.
