Yeah, I just did some google research to make sure I'm not an idiot and NO ONE thinks that was real capoeira. It's a mix of fake monkey kung fu and fake capoeira with some random extra bullshyt tossed in. And there's zero reason to think that any black man in the 1980s was studying Monkey Kung Fu unless you just want the black man to look like a monkey.
