Ok so did Big or did NOT Big warn Pac about Haitian Jack and them nikkas before he started messing with them? Did or did NOT Big attempt to visit Pac in the hospital AFTER the shooting to check on him. Did or did NOT Big explain to Pac in PERSON that Who Shot Ya wasn’t directed towards him and Pac ran with it anyway? Did or did NOT pro black, pro brotherhood 2Pac attempt to slander Dr Dre’s name and publicly emasculate him all for the crime of Dre not wanting to be fukked out of his Masters/Publishing by Suge and leaving Death Row? I’ve been saying this for years that Pac was just as problematic and contributed JUST as much to all the bullshyt and toxicity of the culture at the time as anyone else but people want to give him a pass because he shot those cops in Atlanta and made Dear Mama.

Pac was a living breathing contradiction and a hypocrite who lied on Biggie about being betrayed but then turned around and betrayed his homie Stretch. Wanted to take Spike Lee to task about his depiction of black women while being accused of RAPING a black woman and publicly bragging about sleeping with a black married woman. Implored black men to think strategically while chasing down and stomping out known gang members in PUBLIC.

You could say the same thing about Nas to a lesser extent, talking black power and empowerment in one verse, then the next song talking about how many guns, shootouts hes been in, even on his 2nd to last album, he said he would rather go out in a blazing shootout than not be able to go to his hood again. This was the dichotomy that a lot of young pro black rappers faced at the time.
