PAC story changed so many times first it was BIG then it was stretch then it was o BIG knew and didn’t warn me. PAC was all over the place. He was an actor. Trying to create controversy to sell records cause he couldn’t compete with BIG. Everything that Puff touched at that time was a hit.

Dude had a number 1 album from jail. He dropped All Eyez on Me which sold like crack when it dropped and didn't diss Biggie at all... Pac's persona like Tyson was a draw to the crowd which often overlooked their crafts You dudes acting like dude was Jeru Da Damaja or some shyt

I know that but you gotta understand back then you had to buy the albums to hear the rapper. So if it was buzz in the street only way you knew what pac was going to say was if you bought the album. Won’t no streaming hearsay none of that. A lot of people was fascinated with his onscreen instead of his music. Cuz he rapped Hennessy and enemy all the time

I’ve been saying this for years that Pac was just as problematic and contributed JUST as much to all the bullshyt and toxicity of the culture at the time as anyone else but people want to give him a pass because he shot those cops in Atlanta and made Dear Mama.

Pac was a living breathing contradiction and a hypocrite who lied on Biggie about being betrayed but then turned around and betrayed his homie Stretch. Wanted to take Spike Lee to task about his depiction of black women while being accused of RAPING a black woman and publicly bragging about sleeping with a black married woman. Implored black men to think strategically while chasing down and stomping out known gang members in PUBLIC.

This take actually angered me. Lol. Probably because it came from u. It’s hard to see otherwise rational posters buy into this bad boy propaganda bullshyt.

Funny is yall keep saying Biggie should have never came to Cali. nikka got murdered at an industry event, Yes it was in Cali but yall acting like he was strolling thru MOB territory,.

Also if yall listen to Reggie, he insisting they killed Stretch in NY, so what exactly would have stopped them from killing Big in NY?.

I remember Pour out a lil Liquor, Pain, I Get Around and Keep Ya head up got heavy rotation on video, radio and burn.. He had the singles out along with people talking about Poetic Justice and Above the rim but he wasn't mega star status yet

Here's a refreshing take........fukk their friends. nikkaz always talking. All I gotta say is put yourself in the shoes of Pac, and yall nikkaz probably would have reacted the same way. You talk shyt now cuz you can look back at it. Most of you dude probably ain't never had a gun pulled on ya. Yet you in here talking like you know what should have went on in a nikka head. He should've did this ass nikkaz. Foh.

The lie being The Notorious BIG had something to do with him getting shot when him and Big had no beef at all prior to that, Big told him them nikkas might not be safe, and walked Pac’s illegal gun out of Quad studios in the middle of the entire NYPD.

These nikkas should be ashamed of themselves.

Pac started the wax beef with Big just to stack up so he could go to war with the nikkas that really tried to rob him.

Big was the epitome of a stand up nikka.

This is all true.

And what Clark said is true too. I just don’t get why he's speaking on this 26 years later. Just seems like he's been on a campaign to get clicks and start sh*t. A lot of unnecessary and reckless statements from dude lately.

PAC had to create the controversy to sell them records dude was an actor playing a rapper. He knew BIG and Bad Boy was killin the radio and the streets. BIG didn’t sell off controversy he sold off his music.
Facts, he created the model for later interscope rappers.
- Eminem: dissing pop stars for no reason and beefing with baby mama and his mother.
- 50 cent: starts fake beefs with nikkas for breathing.

Interscope made a lot of money off of the controversy to sell records model.
