My response was about whether or not it was an impactful event.
Was the version of "who shot ya" with the last verse out before or after pac got shot. I've always felt like the last verse of that song was the one the could be interpreted as a diss, the version that was already out before pac got shot didn't have that verse.

Facts but we forget these were young ass men bro. I’m sure 2pac in his 23-24 brain at the time wasn’t thinking that him insinuating they knew or had something to do with his shooting/robbery would lead to Biggie’s death.
Also, the people who killed Biggie were idiots, clearly…because 2pac’s death had nothing to do with Biggie and them, that was West Coast gangbanger ish that caused his demise…so them people just murdered Biggie on some stupid, petty “Well Pac got killed so, even tho Biggie had nothing to do with it, he gotta go too” timing, misguided retaliatory shyt…only an idiot would do that to him for nothing. As far as the DPG trailer getting shot up I do remember BIG mentioning it on the radio in hot 97 and saying something along the lines of are you gonna let these dudes continue to disrespect us
