These nikkas can’t be serious breh, nikka was an actor.

Pac could have been making his own movies on Apple TV by now..

Why Pac had to get caught up in the dumb shyt?

Him and Will Smith would have been making money together.

Here’s the thing which sort of disconnects me as someone who is Big’s age it was in the mix from what you guys are talking about. The streets dictated what was hot back then in hip hop and that was the real “release” date.

So when you say “who shot ya” was dropped on the orders…

First of all… Big had NO pull in bad boy to dictate what was going to be dropped.

Second… The real release date for songs was considered to be songs played on mix tapes, stretch and Bobbito, those things. Those were New York release dates. The buzz was already on the streets for that song before Pac got clapped.
Was the version of "who shot ya" with the last verse out before or after pac got shot. I've always felt like the last verse of that song was the one the could be interpreted as a diss, the version that was already out before pac got shot didn't have that verse.

Imo Pac didn’t like the dude that used to sleep on his couch became a bigger artist than him.
I’m no universe is biggie bigger than or has ever been a bigger artist than pac
Stop the cap
And none of y’all know if big had anything to do with anything
That nikka sneak dissed with who shot ya and then claim he made it b4 pac got shot but what was the point of releasing that?
Then after pac dies he dissed him on the radio talking crazy in LA
And when the album dropped it was full of subliminal diss songs
Even the going back to Cali was him saying he not scared
Well he got what he was looking for

Facts but we forget these were young ass men bro. I’m sure 2pac in his 23-24 brain at the time wasn’t thinking that him insinuating they knew or had something to do with his shooting/robbery would lead to Biggie’s death.

Also, the people who killed Biggie were idiots, clearly…because 2pac’s death had nothing to do with Biggie and them, that was West Coast gangbanger ish that caused his demise…so them people just murdered Biggie on some stupid, petty “Well Pac got killed so, even tho Biggie had nothing to do with it, he gotta go too” timing, misguided retaliatory shyt…only an idiot would do that to him for nothing. That’s why I think that big dummy was behind it…nig got a peanut brain according to the accounts

But yeah, if Pac never mentioned Big in the first place and just placed all the angst on who did it then Big may still be here. Who knows, maybe Pac would too somehow

As far as the DPG trailer getting shot up I do remember BIG mentioning it on the radio in hot 97 and saying something along the lines of are you gonna let these dudes continue to disrespect us

With that said I think it’s comical that Snoop and DPG tried to say that song was paying homage to NYC. It was a clear diss

Clear diss. They are mocking the way NYers talk at the beginning of the track.

"Yo, B (just pass the blunt, man)
Turn your speakers up, money
Yo, God (yo, God?)
Yo
Yo, I got mad skills
Isn't that Money?"
