I see what wave you're on now. After I point out a few obvious things our convo on this will cease.

We are in unprecedented levels of political abuse. Nobody saw it coming. From the Founders down itwas expected that the system, via mostly sane voters, would keep the ship.running smoothly. With 45, sane voters took a break.

As far as Dem justices, they can't do much without a majority. And can't put a stop to something that.....clear your brain cells out.....isn't in play in the first place.

You're being a clown right now. So our convo in here is finished.
Nobody saw this coming huh?
So people haven’t been talking about reversing rulings for years huh?
You basically saying these politicians dumb asl huh?
If folks didn’t see this coming then they shouldn’t be in office

Its crazy how nobody really can give straight talking points but then will turn around and try to end a conversation like they got the last word in

This why nobody respect political shills dem or rep

Y’all treat this shyt like it’s fukking sports or something

And the fukked yo part is yall really think yall be saying some real shyt

Ok if that’s the excuse dems going to run with then alright

Imo they should’ve seen this coming and should’ve been proactive about it, especially since black voters been one of they strongest bases but yet they let them destroy AA

I'm not sure what you're thinking of, but the only way I know of to proactively stop the Supreme Court from declaring something unconstitutional is by making a Constitutional Amendment......and that requires 2/3 vote of the House and ratification by 3/4 of the states, which the Democrats haven't had.

I just don’t like this rhetoric of voters not voting enough when dems had opportunities to stop shyt before it even happened

It really makes me believe they ok with the bullshyt to

When did they have these opportunities?

They had years, years plural to do something about the supreme courts

Every year there was a dem president they should’ve been proactive about the courts

It’s a so called dem president in office right now and he allowed them people to destroy AA, but yet it seems like nobody gives a fukk about that when that should be the deal breaker, of course they going to go at brown vs education and my question is what dems going to do about it

But it don’t even matter what dems do, black folks need to really pay attention to what’s going on cause we need to fight in the streets over this type of shyt

Honestly bruh the only thing in good faith you could say the Dems could a done was get RBG outta there and tried to force Biden out and get behind a Democratic candidate that has much more experience and savvy with the legal system.

And I'm also hoping that if we have a Democrat majority Senate but Trump is in office, all his picks for judge get blocked. Otherwise y'all are just useful idiots at this point.

I'm really not interested in voting for someone who doesn't have the legal and political savvy to navigate a conservative Supreme Court. I don't want to hear the Supreme Court as an excuse in 2030 for why shyt ain't getting done.

It's only a valid excuse for so long before these people become idiots that just can't do their job at a certain point. There is no other career field outside of politics where you can make a decades long excuse for shyt to not get done. The Supreme Court is an unacceptable excuse in 2032, period. President is supposed to represent our brightest and most capable, I'm not interested in voting for someone who's only as effective as me at navigating a conservative Supreme Court and politics is supposed to be their job.

He said "appointed Dems" not appointed Dem judges. Allow me to show you what theyve been doing @Gritsngravy

"NEW YORK/WASHINGTON, June 29 (Reuters) - President Joe Biden said it would be a mistake to expand the membership of the U.S. Supreme Court after it struck down race-conscious admission considerations on Thursday but thinks the institution is out of touch with basic American values.

Biden told MSNBC in New York that the court "may do too much harm but I think if we start the process of trying to expand the court, we are going to politicize it maybe forever, in a way that is not healthy."

Biden also said the court's value system is different and it's not as embracing.

The affirmative action ruling is the latest in a string of setbacks on issues that were once considered settled, such as abortion rights, delivered by the conservative-leaning court."

While you have the Republicans appointing people who were appointed specefically to not go against their party line, and to turn back long standing rulings. You have the old bleeding heart Democrats on some "we dont want to ruin the sanctity of the court:mjcry:".

Instead they send out their liberal footsoldiers to tell us "All you have to do is make sure Democrats win every election for the next 30-40 years so they can appoint judges. Surely some of them should die or retire by then#VoteHarder"

Dont let these people try to convince you otherwise. The audacity of them to try to pressure us to vote. While applying zero pressure on Biden to expand the court, due to him being either naive or complicit. These Democrats will continue to try to play fair. And wanna take you with em to go have a gang brawl bare knuckles,or better yet a Stomp The Yard styled dance battle. Meanwhile the other side bought the straps and you taking that L like Chris Brown did.

Its is not our job to make sure Dems win every election ever. While they dont even attempt,or explore exhausting all options under the current circumstances. Seems like your best bet is preparing to leave the country. Come back when the judges and old useless Democrats die if you'd like:respect:

Man the fact that AA been shut down without any pushback says a lot about the democratic leadership in they respective offices and what they agendas may be, like it’s crazy to me democrats feet haven’t been held to the fire more just from that alone

And they had opportunities to do something. About the courts, I refuse to accept these excuses/passes they giving democrats about that and they got to nerve to say “well vote harder”, like what the fukk has dems been doing this whole time when they seen the republicans trying to reverse shyt

That’s why I think dems okay with what’s going on in the courts cause they for damn sure acting like they don’t give a fukk so once the reverse brown vs education and maybe gay marriage and some moe shyt they need to put all that “blame voters” energy into these officials in seats now

Cause what’s going to happen is black people goin to vote heavily for dems, dems may win some shyt but probably lose the presidency, what they going to do when the courts try to shut down brown vs education cause I ain’t trying to hear “well they couldn’t do anything”, that’s bullshyt

Like what if the courts judge that lyching black people is ok would yall still be trying to excuse dems for not fighting for the voters because they don’t have a majority?

You're making a false equivalency. Democrats have been appointing judges who are exactly as strongly in line with Democrat values as the Republican judges are in line with theirs. There just aren't enough of them.

The only way to do otherwise is expand the courts. But the Democrats are on the verge of losing the Senate, so if they expanded the courts then the Republicans could just flip it the same way in the next term. Affirmative Action wouldn't even have time to come back in that period because it would take years for another case to reach the Supreme Court, so all you'd get is an even more politicized court where whoever held the Senate/Presidency added seats to force the court to do whatever they want. Thus we'd be fukked unless the Democrats DID win every election for the next 30-40 years.

You don't think through this shyt at all. Their plan might work, while there is literally no reasonable scenario where your plan works.

What is your plan for "pushback"? What exactly did you expect them to do? I'm still waiting to hear an actual strategy beyond "don't vote Democrat".

There goes the bleeding heart:mjlol:

Trump is facing how many charges? Accused of trying to steal elections(not playing fair). Yet you all actually believe these judges he appointed are honorable? And will actually follow the letter of the law. You even said Clarence Thomas has been comprimised politically. So there is literally zero reason to trust that the court hasnt already been politicized. Unless you are naive and blind enough to continue to think the GOP are playing the game fair.

Democrats had no issue changing filibuster rules when the GOP showed itself unwilling to play fair during Obamas tenure(came back to bite them:mjlol:). But its their fault they lost to Trump,if they hadnt this is a whole different situation. So your just making excuses as to why they shouldnt expand the court. Expand the court, then you can tell voters you need us to keep a democratic president and senate in order to maintain.

How is that not better than telling voters to make sure Democrats win the presidency for the next 2 to 3 decades in HOPES somebody quits or dies. So that the then president can appoint one:mjlol:?

Not sure how what im saying is less reasonable if we both agree chances of Democrats winning every election is slim to none. At least my scenario doesnt have a probable 20 year turn around time. Where your literally rolling dice that these judges retire or die when a Democrat holds the presidency and controls Senate. Expand the courts while you can and then see what happens would be the wiser move. I mean "see what happens" is literally there only option regardless as it pertains to the courts.
