Romo got the Cowboys exactly where Dak has gotten them. 8 to 9 wins most of the time followed by quick playoff exits.

Dak isn't the issue. The coaching staff in place has created a culture of being mediocre. The Jones family follows up on that mediocre culture by having them hide behind the Star and the Cowboys brand.

Until Jerry Jones hires a head coach that knows how to pick innovative/adaptive coordinators and his OWN players, nothing will change.

You have to stop hanging on to what if's. Romo is done. Jerry Jones and the coaching staff failed him by..

A. Not drafting an offensive line until Romo was beaten to a pulp and
B. Forcing him to run a weak ass offensive playbook all while covering up weak defenses.

All Dak has proven is that you can't run the offense like a normal QB. He's going by what the COACHES want him to do. WR's are given routes that will get them open.


If this was basketball the cowboys would be running the triangle offense that never takes 3 point shots.

We're not winning with Jerry and Garrett. Even after Garrett drops a critical game, Jerry feels great about Garrett. Garrett is smiling after the game when talking to Earl Thomas. The fans care more about winning than Jerry and Garrett.

Cowboys would be smart to trade Dez if possible. Get a 2nd rounder. Dez and Dak simply have no chemistry and Dez would be a lot more dangerous with an OC who had more ways to get him involved.
