Dude is a crazy person. He's been a terrible teammate for like 5 years straight and burned his way through 3 cities. He found a fit in MIA but he's a bullshyt artist who claimed all he wanted to do was win then left 3 winning situations until he found someone to give him what he really wanted: a long term deal

How did he leave 3 winning situations? How many playoff games have those 3 teams won combined since he left them? Zero

Bulls haven’t even come close to making the playoffs since he left, only time the Wolves have made the playoffs in years was the one year he was there and Philly is a disfunctional mess

safe to say he made the right decision coming here

you judge actions by the info available at the time. The sixers were a shot away from the ECF in their first year together with two new pieces in their top 4. He left them to go to Miami who still finished behind them in the standings and lets be real, nobody expected them to make the finals this year. Props to them but no way that when he chose to leave Philly he knew that Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro and Dragic were going to be huge pieces for a contending team.
The Wolves were a top 3 team in the West before he got hurt that year and fell to the 8th seed. Again that was their 1st year together and there was a clear path to them being a regular contending team. And what came out was that all his talk about not wanting to play with the young guys because they didn't want to win was bullshyt. What he was actually mad about (and rightfully so) was that the Wolves prioritized signing Wiggins to a max extension first and wouldn't immediately agree to max Butler out in salary and money. Now I agree with him that he was their best player and should've been the first priority, but he spun the story that it was all about how they didn't want to win, ignoring the fact that he was brought there to help teach them how to win and work hard. Instead he threw all those guys under the bus even though they showed him love and deferred to him from the moment he got there. Jimmy is all about the bag. Not mad at him for it, but you can't take all his talk about 'just wanting to win' seriously after he left a top 3 team in the west and a top 2/3 team in the East in consecutive years as soon as someone dangled a long term deal in front of him.

No way u can play on a tear, if he does it doesn’t matter cuz he won’t be a factor.

Bam playing would surprise me.

If he get those shots like Joe Johnson did back in 2913 he’ll b able to play but won’t be affective though.

I know people outside Miami hate hearing about culture, but I really think it comes down to that. He saw KAT/Wiggins, Embiid/Simmons and the Minny/Philly organizations as a whole didn’t have the same mindset or attitude that he does and chose to go somewhere that embraces it.

There’s no doubt that while Wade was in Chicago with him playing for Hoiberg that they talked about the culture in Miami. That’s where he wanted to be ever since then. He never wanted to go to Philly. He wanted to be traded to the Heat but they were unwilling to part with Richardson/Bam. Once the summer came and they saw a full season of Richardson as a primary guy they were willing to give him up in the sign and trade

So in the end, he chose an organization that he trusted to make the most of the pieces they have over places with more raw talent that wouldn’t hold that talent accountable
