I had a feeling something bad was going down and he would get caught up. He was getting a lot of attention and focus during this episode; at other times, he’s secondary or plays the back. And the dialogue between him and the other detective talking about his eating habits and stomach problems.

Yeah, you right. I'm slippin' on this tv watching shyt. Usually I can tell when they're setting up a character for the bushes but I actually thought it was going to be Rachel since she was on to Jackie's fukkery the most.

She’s more essential to the plot. And as the only “lead” female detective, they need the balance; she’s also more interesting as a stand alone character.

Rather they have her as one of the main characters than Jackie’s wife- she’s getting on my last nerve and they keep forcing and dragging her “woe is me” role. Just have her make at least one decision already and be done with it.

We are seeing him near a low point tho... dude is clearly cracking and losing it to the point that he publicly threatened the nurse and was on the verge of physcally assaulting her had his wife not shown up.

He is desprate to wrap up this case...it's not about glory, he us trying to redeem his image/career because he knows all of his bullshyt is catching up to him. His ex partner knows it that's y he was talking to the reporter and about to retire.

I was thinking about how they are going to move forward, as well. Are the irish brothers going to be a apart of it going forward? I don't see how they can beat the charges they're currently facing. Unless maybe they throw Jackie under the bus for all his scumbaggery, but then where does that leave Jackie going forward?

It's clear to me that DeCourcy is going to enter politics eventually so I'm pretty sure his future is secure. The rest of them? Not sure where their stories go.
