That lil girls gonna grow up to be a monster.
I can see that. They're definitely done with the Ryan family.I think the creator was talking about season 2 entering Roxbury or something. I think we'll see a shift like the WIRE in season 2, and the focus might be on the black part of Boston in season 2.
Shorter answer: No.
- They cracked down on political corruption in the early 2000s.
- South Boston is now full of yuppies. Nothing like what Whitey Bulger left behind.
- Charlestown is still full of white trash crack/meth/heroin heads and still gets way too much shine in Boston folklore
- Roxbury/Dorchester/Mattapan are all gentrifying.
- North End still controlled by the Mafia. But they lay low as fukk.
Cape Verdeans running more of Boston than cacs are.
So this is a pretty small thread. Seems like nobody watches it. Is it a good show or what?
I enjoyed it. Good acting, the plot is pretty basic. Good little binge for the week if you have nothing else to watch.
Because white people especially white cops hate series or movies that showcase the depths of their depravity, moral lapses and their inner dysfunction . The myth of whites as the picture of the perfect pillars of Society is completely in shambles. White people will show out in droves to see And say how inner city life is among black people - partial reason why The Wire is so popular but any of the same depiction or representation for whites by whites will never receive the same level of popular reaction.why dont you think it's more popular?
