It may just be me because I doubt too many people have ever been here....But it's this place called Moore, Oklahoma I literally get a nervous spooked feeling whenever I travel through it (I live in Oklahoma) something about that area doesn't sit right with me and I haven't checked the history or anything but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a sundown town.

Growing up in Cincinnati it was this area called Cheviot/Norwood....fukk those places. Straight sundown at one point.
Moore has been straight up obliterated by tornadoes twice in the last twenty years.
Width, wind speeds, and damage on some :demonic: shyt. Don't know why anybody would want to live there.

The Truth
nikka it has nothing to do with Christianity. People practicing roots and Gris Gris and playing with snakes is not normal.

As for death, it’s weird to see how they bury their dead above ground because they are below sea level. shyt Is Weird.

It’s not the practice of voodoo I guess as much as the people it is who practice it. The white people who do that shyt are weird as hell and take it to extremes. Seeing covens performing rites at the St Louis Cemetery at night is definitely creepy and weird as hell

I’m from Mobile Al like 100 miles away so I grew up with a different perspective than you but I feel where you coming from
The fact you in mobile I expect you to not be so uncomfortable in NO

I don’t know nobody that does “ voodoo” down there and i got family there. Sounds like some shyt you saw on tv.

they bury the dead above ground so that way it won’t come floating back up if it floods... whats creepy about it? They’re dead, no creepier than any other cemetery. They bury the dead above ground in Baton Rouge and sometimes other places as well

Who tf is playing with snakes? What part of NO you be going to? Sounds like some tourist shyt

Hartford CT

From the time I landed in the airport I felt weird. All these different varieties of white people and very few blacks. It's a bit creepy. Then you drive around the town and it's more and more Anglo whites so over with a few black neighborhoods here and there. And they say it's The South that's segregated...:sas1:

that wasn’t Hartford

Who the fukk vacations in Poland?:mjlol:

Atlantic City is strange. Used to go there as a kid all the time but all i thought it was was ocean, hotels and fun. Stepped off that boardwalk and walked into crime city. Seen a wheelchair bound pimp slap one of his hoes for being short. The amount of prostitutes just roaming the streets. I remember going back and telling my parents like i discorverd Atlantis:russ:

You MAY be right but burrying their dead above ground MAY not necessarily be a sea-level thing. This is something that is common in African and mostly black countries like Hait, Jamaica, etc from what i noticed. It's called a "cav" in haitian kreyol. Not sure what others call it.

All my grandparents are burried above ground back in Haiti and so is my dad. I also went to Ivory Coast in December and my boy and I visited his mother's village and went to see her resting place. They were all above ground. And it's tradition (in haiti and some other countries) that these cavs be on family-owned property and usually in the front yard of said property. The one where my grandparents are buried is right in front of the property about 2 yards into it and the house itself is about 20-30 yards behind the cav.

It’s not the practice of voodoo I guess as much as the people it is who practice it. The white people who do that shyt are weird as hell and take it to extremes. Seeing covens performing rites at the St Louis Cemetery at night is definitely creepy and weird as hell

White people have been fascinated with voodoo for centuries because they dont understand it. As shytty as Haiti's tourism infrastructure is, many whites go there to attend and watch voodoo ceremonies. One of the biggest attractions for tourists n Petion-Ville(Haiti) is the RAM band performing every thursday night which is essentially a voodoo band with other genres incorporated in it. Go to the hotel where they host the how (Hotel Olofson) and plenty of white tourists in there shaking their asses after they sold you on Christianity

I’ve visited family in Jacksonville a lot. I get a weird feeling every time I go there.

Jacksonville is pretty shut down as far as fun goes, the city really makes it hard to have any cultural identity there, everything shuts down early and it's hard to get anything popping.

Why everyone comes to SFLA the rest of Florida is overrun with racist cacs who don't want their "city turning into Miami" they don't even care about the crime like that, they just don't want the overflow of immigrants bringing culture there.

I felt pretty regular when I went to Jacksonville to be honest but it was boring as hell.

I know a lot of folks who do it, I got family there too. Just because you ain’t seen it doesn’t mean it’s not going down. I know old and young folks as well as WHOLE families that get down with that shyt. White and black.

uncomfortable=\= weird. I love NOLA. You just see weird shyt there that you don’t in other cities.

why you so worried about my perception? It’s MY perception. I see the city as weird, but that’s ok to be weird and unique. People being drunk at 10am on a Tuesday, watching 11 year old kids busk with nan a truant officer in sight is weird to me.
