and that's a lie and a distortion of hip hop history, flava flav was not selling out or being a c00n by playing the role of a hypeman for a pro black rap group
You saying its a lie doesn't make it so. You can spin it however you want, Flava Flav has always been a c00n. I'm done with you, if you want to come back and parrot that "it's a lie" bullshyt, then you can have the last word.

It's a lie, flava flav was dope in PE, I don't think you know anything about hip hop to say such a thing

I know plenty about hip hop, you're just a stupid motherfukker who doesn't know what a c00n is.

What exactly a c00n is is actually complicated and I try to avoid calling people c00ns, the word c00n like nikka is a bad habit

I assume you mean sellout when you say c00n, but again flava flav and chuck d were not sellouts in the PE era, that's ridiculous

c00n does not mean sellout. c00n is a stereotype that whites have of black men. Here's a pretty good definition/explanation of what a c00n is. Read it and tell me that Flav hasn't always perpetuated this stereotype.

The c00n stereotype (1600s – ) is one of the main ways white Americans have of looking at black men. It sees black men as being not particularly bright or hard-working, as shiftless and good-for-nothing, as someone you cannot count on, who would rather live off of the work of others. Whites saw them that way as slaves and still tend to see them that way even now.

c00ns, in the pure, lived in slow motion: they moved slowly and talked slowly. They could never manage to speak proper English and always messed up long words. They were easy to fool and take advantage of. They loved to eat watermelon and play games of chance. When they had money they dressed to show off. They avoided marriage, creating matriarchs, but when they did marry they were ruled by their Sapphire wives. They have big smiles and wide-open eyes. They were friendly, not violent, but could not be trusted with anything.

I didn't need a website to tell me what c00n meant, you do you dumb motherfukker. I already knew. You obviously aren't accepting what Im saying so i gave you an independent outside source that puts the term in it's proper historical context.
You're up here taking a high school dropouts definition of what a c00n is:russ: The term c00n existed hundreds of years before Nas made that song, idiot.

Last time I checked rappers use the term nikka not ******. Why don't you tell me how your search engine distinguishes the 2 terms? :youngsabo:

I don't think you are grasping the whole point, not all black people agree that there is a difference between nikka and ******, that's why people take issue with the title nikkas in paris

nikkaz In Paris felt and sounded like rich black guys bragging how they can ball so hard in racist Paris just for the hell of it. In a ostentatious way, that song displayed BlackExcellence :obama:

And, yes I respect Chuck D, and I'm no Hov/Ye fan (just like music), and I'm well aware how racist

Parisians treats African immigrants. But, I didn't find that song title offensive. That's like how I still wished Nas didn't fold under corporate pressure and rename ****** to Untiltled. :yeshrug:
