What Chuck D said about No Limit/Cash Money is EXACTLY what i been saying for years!! That's how the business works. And yeah, regardless if they from the hood or not or if they white/black. That's what they do. They've done it for decades in many genres. That's part of where some of these issues with artists comes from. And then yall wonder why at times artists dont wanna show love & bring people on. It's a snake business & EVERYBODY plays a part in it.

I always said the same thing. Universal got mad cause they couldn't sign No Limit, so they decided to back a rival faction. That deal that Cash Money got was largely due to Universal's desire to crush No Limit.

Okay, I get what you guys are saying. Still, I feel it takes a lot to make it that large (She literally is on top of rap sales at the moment) - I always felt like if people wanted to hit it big - they had to cater to a style - then they could add their own custom shyt in their album. Still, she's living her dreams.

When I read what Chuck said I felt like he was addressing another issue, and then just attacked her out of the blue.

Listened to it at work. Powerful three hours. Then I peeped this article today in the Washington post about clear channel and Chuck was real then and ever dealer now. Hip hop is nothing but corporate music and if you can't see that now you're blind or don't want to see it

Iggy is doing NOTHING for Aussie Hip Hop. Besides the accent, NO ONE in the scene here gives a fukk about her and no one accepts her even as a part of the scene. She started her career over in America anyway, she grew up in Mullimbimby which is a small town in the country.

Hilltops were featured on a CuninLynguists albums few years ago and personally I thought Bliss N Eso would be the first to get a good look in America.
