Since nikkas of Central and West-Africans descent will use Ethiopia (East Africans) to justify being Christians like it wasn’t imposed because of colonialism and slavery :mjlol:

Ethiopia CONVERTED to Christianity 4th century AD, because of a non-Black Christian missionary from Lebanon..

Christianity was enforced to make enslaved Africans from submissive and accepting of colonialism and enslavement.

And to cut enslaved Africans in the Americas from their Ancestral cultures and traditions rooted in Central and West Africa, as the overwhelming majority practiced ATRs that kept them rebellious to enslavement.

The African traditions and lexical items in ATRs of the Black Diaspora can be traced back directly to specific ethnic groups and regions in Central and West Africa they originate from TIL THIS DAY.

Academic studies of history, anthrology and linguistics of the Black Diaspora all confirm this.

BaKongo people, Kingdom of Kongo

Fon people, Kingdom of Dahomey

Aja people, Kingdom of Allada

Yoruba people, Oyo Empire

Anyone that justifies Christianity outside of anything other than
“I just like the theology” simply hasn’t read enough academic work about History, Slavery and Christianity’s intricate oppressive role in it. (and traveled to see it first-hand)

ATRs had a rebellious, liberating and African cultural preserving function during that time period.

The Haitian Revolution being the nucleus of these historical facts.

LOST NIKKAS will still be a denial of documented facts tho :russ:

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
What I have said respecting and against religion, I mean strictly to apply to the slaveholding religion of this land, and with no possible reference to Christianity proper; for, between the Christianity of this land, and the Christianity of Christ, I recognize the widest possible difference—so wide, that to receive the one as good, pure, and holy, is of necessity to reject the other as bad, corrupt, and wicked. To be the friend of the one, is of necessity to be the enemy of the other.

I love the pure, peaceable, and impartial Christianity of Christ: I therefore hate the corrupt, slaveholding, women-whipping, cradle-plundering, partial and hypocritical Christianity of this land. Indeed, I can see no reason, but the most deceitful one, for calling the religion of this land Christianity. I look upon it as the climax of all misnomers, the boldest of all frauds, and the grossest of all libels. Never was there a clearer case of “stealing the livery of the court of heaven to, serve the devil in.”

~Frederick Douglass, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave.

Weird how our ancestors knew what was 'real' vs. fake but cats in the current era don't and keep referring to them as ignorant, stupid, brainwashed, etc.

You can misuse a faith to justify something. That doesn't mean the faith is inherently anti-African.

Why should it when the human condition and society changed from 2,000 years ago? Hell, it changed within the pages of the texts to reflect that, so I don't get why that would even be a valid critique unless you're applying it to literalists/extremists.
These motherfukkers out here preaching prosperity gospel. We have a Pope and shyt that they damn near treat like a God. I don't belive in the shyt either way though so I don't give a fukk, and I'm not spending my day off arguing on a yearly coli thread.

That ultimately depends on your definition of religion.

Not entirely.....

Again, not entirely.....

However you want to define it. Morality is inherently subjective. Nothing objective about basing your morality on fairy tales.

Ignore them, or, call them out. They aren't representative of the religion as a whole.
We have a Pope
"We"? Overwhelming majority of Black people are Protestant.

Fine with me. Gonna do the same.

Then NOTHING is 'good' or 'evil' as neither logic nor reason can objectively define them.

Your opinion is just as valid as Jeffrey Dahmer or Stalin or Martin Luther King.

Then there shouldn't be anyone objecting to genocide since not everyone agrees on what it is.
not sure how you came to that conclusion based on what i said.
I never said that nobody is ever immoral
But if you are the type that believes people without religion will resort to being blood thirsty savages than i would be concerned that you might potentially go on a mass killing spree should you ever experience a loss of faith. Nutjob babble
redflag. I hope the bible isn't the only reason you have for not being a murderer. there other logical reasons one might what to live in a peaceful society beyond jesus said so.
