a bigot is a bigot...the language he's using against others has been used against us and we recognized it...

he doesn't have to say he hates blacks his actions (housing discrimination, birther movement, central park 5) have shown it and the clear cut white supremacist that he's appointed to office has further solidified it...

yes every black person has the same problem...it's called racism...just because you choose to be a token, or ignore or make a lot of money doesn't make you immune to it...

Thats really all you have?

I mean...youre basing decisions on feelings.
You would rather someone lie to your face...than someone say something truthful that makes you uncomfortable.

Would I rather black people be rich and have a president that says what he really thinks?
YES!!!

Much more than race effects our daily lives...
...the left can always bring out the race card to bring black folks right on back because they know we are emotional on that subject.

He also still believes Obama wasn't born in America and has said several times recently that he still believes the Central Park 5 are guilty. And there's talk of video footage from not too long ago of him calling Blacks n!gger.

I'm more surprised that they're pushing so hard for a black act - I would assume they'd want someone Hispanic to perform instead
They would've hired that Republican Puerto Ric00n DADDY YANKEE, but I'm sure they're :whoa: after he came out the closet years ago.

Some small things like integrity.. cultural pride..and dignity which this a$$hole is the direct opposite of should be worth way more than one check...No, we may not know her money situation but gotdamn... It can't be so bad that you're willing to lend your time and art to a political machine who will call you and your fans ******s, spics, 2nd class citizens, etc etc to your face and you still tap dance for him smdh

If she'd EVER received $5 from everyone calling her names and suggesting that she not perform...she probably wouldn't need to perform :manny:

Not to compare her to Whitney, but a lot of you, who are old enough to remember what she went through should be ashamed of yourselves. Black people didn't really champion Whitney en mass until she started doing things that are sadly stereotypical. I remember being 7 years old watching Whitney get boo'ed at the Soul Train Awards. Fast forward 10 years later, she's got a "hood pass", SMMFH.

Bottom line, its ok to be opposed to her performing, but the name calling, shaming and utter disrespect for someone you feel has "let our race down" by performing at the Inauguration is WAAAAY more misguided and problematic than she is, regardless of her reasoning.
