It would be like Cheech and Chong's old asses doing another movie. The nostalgia of it would be good but if it's not up to expectations people will shyt all over it.

but considering this nikka owes 11 million, eveyrbody wouldnt mind wasting money to see it good or bad for nostalgia, AND this nikka could potentially use the movie as a platform for his supposed stand up career
Isn't known that Tucker is a diva, and people don't like working with him? I think he was taxing out the 'Rush Hour' franchise guys to do those movies, and he's still in financial trouble? I have limited sympathy for him. I don't really give a fukk about a 'Friday' sequel, I got my laughs and memories out of that franchise, but Chris Tucker should give a fukk, cuz that's all that will work for him at this point.
He could definitely reprise a Smokey character and make it work...
Only this time make him reformed and straight-laced with a family and some 9-5.. And maybe even give Craig a family and Dede a girlfriends/wife and have a reunion/wedding/or some sort of event where they all have to get together... They'd have to bring in a new ignorant character like Dede's younger half brother or some bullshyt and he does some stupid shyt that pulls the 3 of them into a whole ordeal filled with the regular Friday shenanigans...
I don't see Chris Tucker playing Smokey this late in the game. They would probably make Smokey character more cartoonist, just like Detective Carter character was more cartoonist in Rush Hour 2 & 3. What a lot of these sequels do is get the highlights of the character in the first movie and make that a focal point in the squeals. Which is wack because all they doing is making that character one-dimensional in the squeals. Same thing with Martin character in Bad Boys 2.
