I thought it was WELL KNOWN that Chris Tucker wasn't interested in doing another Friday and HASN'T BEEN interested n doing another Friday. Ice Cube is the one whose been speaking on trying to get Tucker to do the movie for YEARS, NOT Tucker, when has tucker given any indication that he wants to do anything other than make $20 Million every 6 years to do Rush Hour sequels? This dude could've been THE MAN after Rush Hour 2 and decided for whatever reasons that he didn't want all that....

NOT saying I personally don't want to see him reprise the role, but this isn't the 90's anymore, it ain't happening. He'll get his 20 million to do Rush Hour 4 and disappear again for another 4-5 years....

He never said it outright, but he had implied in interviews that he was interested.

I always assumed that he didn't want to do too many movies because he had a small son to raise, so he would only do enough movies so they could eat off it for a little while.

Obviously, I was wrong.

Im pretty sure money talks and dead presidents did more to jump start his career than friday did..

But if you think being in a movie with ice cube gave him more press than co starring next to charlie sheen then more power to you man

:stopitslime:

Friday came out YEARS before Money Talks. If Chris Tucker hadn't been in Friday there's no way in fukking hell he'd have gotten the lead role in Money Talks.

Dead Presidents also came out after Friday and made less money.

Friday was Chris Tuckers biggest break without question. Without that film nobody is gonna put him in anything else. Even now all that nikka does is make Rush Hour movies. It garnered him mainstream attention also (he got nominated for MTV movie awards).
