Why are they acting like there are no other 30something white guys in Hollywood? I like Pratt and all but he has GotG, Jurassic Park and now Indiana Jones? Ryan Reynolds is probably home planning a hit on Chris Pratt right now.

They shouldn't reboot. This should be like an Apprentice type thing where Harrison and Chris go on in Adventure and then Harrison moves on from there. But let's keep it real. Indy probably shouldn't be rebooted but if they do it it shouldn't be Chris playing Indiana Jones. It should be a new character in Indiana's Jones world or universe.

They tried that apprentice thing with crystal skull and whether Shia was the right guy for that or not, they've been to that well. It's going to happen it's just a matter of who's wearing the hat. Harrison wanted to do it but he always said the longer they wait the harder it'll be because he's just getting up there in age.

Indy isn't James Bond though. Harrison is that character. That's like if they reboot Rambo or Rocky. Sometimes you just leave things alone. Making Pratt a Character in Indy Universe is better than making him Indy. Also the Shia think was more he was Indy's Son but I see you point. This is strange cause I don't think they can top any of the Indy's even Skulls so this is way harder to reboot than Star Wars is.

Chris Pratt cannot lose brehs. I don't know what to think about this one though. Harrison the gawd can never be replaced. He owned Indie the way Sean Connery owned 007. And Pratt is too much of a comedic actor, but I guess thats the direction they wanna bring the character to. Can't hate though. If he does a good job in Jurassic World, this will be good for everyone. I just can't see him ever making a better Indie movie than any of the Harrison Ford ones. Including Crystal Skull.

chris pratt is certainly winning. he got the lego movie which is gonna have a sequel, the indiana jones franchise reboot potentially, plus the lead in the guardians on the galaxy which is gonna crossover with the avengers.

He isn't but the whole point of the series was Lucas and Spielberg wanted to make the american James Bond, which is why Connery plays his dad as an homage to that. I'm not saying I completely disagree with you but it's going to happen and if/when it does, I think Pratt or Cooper are the right two guys to pull it off. But this isn't even the main issue with the franchise, the issue for me now, is how does it work from a creative standpoint? It's always been a three man operation and now one of those men (Lucas) is more than likely out of the picture. He's the one who broke the story and then they'd get a writer on it and Spielberg would direct. But how does that work now? Would they even do an Indy movie without him behind the camera? Shyt does he even want to do another Indy movie, much less with a new actor and without Lucas?
