Yeah they went dark and they ended up hating it. Keep it light, keep it fun but also update it and keep it fresh. Since they modeled the series after Bond anyway, it makes sense that Indy would be recast

Spielberg and Lucas and Ford all said they wanted to keep making Indy movies but Harrison also said that the longer they took, the harder it would be since he's not getting any younger, so it was a matter of time before they either got him back in the hat or got someone else to do it and you don't have to "reboot" it..well never mind, I guess you do now since he's married to Marion
