So Nolan is clearly obsessed w/ time. Memento, Inception, and now his "*magnum opus," Interstellar.

The plot...:what:
The fact that it was a movie about space exploration... WITH BARELY 10 MINUTES OF ACTUAL SPACE EXPLORATION... :beli:
The 12 scenes of crying... :snoop:

The robot...:patrice:
The Matt Damon fight sequence...:usure:

This shyt should have been called soap opera clusterfukk in space featuring salty tears.

If you watch it as an unintentional comedy it gets way better IMO. That scene where the robot was galloping in the water after saving ol' girl.. :dead:

I will say, some of the visuals were really cool and the soundtrack & acting are what saved the movie.

I've made my own Interstellar time chart since that's apparently the thing to do now.

Nolan spent more time on character development in the first act than just about any other blockbuster I've seen as of late. The people I went with, who had no clue about who Nolan was (not movie buffs in the slightest), all were enraptured.

If anyone but Nolan had made this exact same movie, I don't think you'd have these many criticisms.
i was ready to give nolan the crown but this flick didnt do it. some great moments but the ending and casting was weak to me. yall act like no ones allowed to critize the flick, the bias lies on your end.

I dug the film, and I liked everything they did with time and dimensions but I can see how it might be eye-rolling for some peeps

I thought you said the problem was the first act.

You can criticize, just make sure the criticisms make sense.

Help me out brehs.....

Plan B. The astronauts were supposed to never come back and start their own colony. If Dr. Brand was secretly planning that outcome, why would he send one woman on the voyage? His daughter....by herself....in space with 3 men. How is that supposed to play out, in terms, of furthering the human race :patrice: You'd think he would have sent a couple females.

Evil Matt Damon had me dying brehs

This nikka just pushes Cooper down the hill like a Bully then head butting this nikka :dead:

I was trying my hardest not to laugh because it was silent as hell in the theater but it was :mjlol:

That scene was like something straight out of Star Trek the original Series.

Even the score music in that scene when they show the zoomed out shot was straight out of Star Trek.

I cant find it on youtube but there is a scene in Star Trek 6 where Shatner fights a shapeshifter that looks like him on a snow planet :skip: :mjlol:

They shown how it would be like going inside a worm hole, a black hole, and be out of time/space :what:

It was damn near outright replied that Amelia volunteered for the mission in order to see her boyfriend. Also, you overlooked the part that they had test tube fertilized eggs on their ship. Plan B was to create test tube babies and repopulate the Earth that way. Lastly, being that Dr. Brand knew humanity's is lost, you may think as a father he wants his own daughter to continue living beyond that.

To be fair I missed all those points too :mjcry:
