Prestige is arguably Nolan's second-best film (after The Dark Knight). Memento is a fukking incoherent gimmick.
You have to be retarded to think memento is incoherent.

Film is brilliant. First nolan film I saw and still my favourite one.

Picked it out to rent at blockbuster. Immediately watched it again once the credits hit. Been a nolan stan since.

I was so psyched when insomnia dropped saw it opening night :blessed:

:banderas:

:whoo:

That 3rd act though :patrice:

Not really sure about all of that.

I was hoping for more of a 2001 bedroom scene type of deal but :yeshrug:.

I need to watch it again for sure... but as soon as McConaughey started pushing books off the shelf :dwillhuh: ...I was immediately taken aback from the pure grandeur and spectacle of the first two acts.

I drove about 2.5 hours to see it in IMAX 70 MM and :salute:to Nolan for at least the first two acts which were masterful. Maybe the ending will grow on me but for now it certainly didn't ruin the experience.

"Nolan has always been a director who loves big, big ideas, but one occasionally gets the sense that he would almost rather make a movie of the characters explaining those ideas to one another with flow charts and diagrams."

This is such an accurate statement of how I feel about Nolan's post-TDK work. :deadrose:

That last act could have been so much more epic, he drop the fukking ball.

Muthafuka just recreated a Tree house of Horror episode. Talking about love connects us even when light-years away :mjlol::usure:

Matt Damon's character was a fukking idiot, had me like :why:

...but that end though :leostare::snoop::heh::scusthov::dahell:

N!gga went through a black-hole and survived :mindblown: To become his fukking daughters "ghost" :dahell:

To use gravity to help her solve the equation :rudy:then he gets dumped off next to Saturn :stopitslime:

nice try Nolan

Gonna see this tomorrow at 10am. 70mm IMAX. I got half a mind to go to bed now just so it feels like I'm seeing it sooner, but I'd just wake up at like 3:17 am.
