Yup. Those marvel films love inflating their box office with that bullshyt 3d
I hate people that look to critics as a barometer.
I swear metacritic/rt is the worst thing to happen to film.
The funny thing is years down the road a lot of critics change their mind on films.
Its like people forget theyre just humans, susecptible to the same bias, hype etc that everyone else is.
Some of the best movies are the ones that get torn apart by critics or are polarizing.
Fight club is one of my favorite films of all time but when that movie dropped critics shyt on it.
See the movie. Judge yourself. I only trust my opinion.

I didn't even know this was in 3D, I thought nolan didn't like 3D

I think it is 2d..but made for the imax experience.

That goes both ways though. Having high expectations and hyping a film then going to see it and it's not as good as you've been saying it would be, so people end up defending it endlessly. " But then the movie doesn't get stellar reviews and isn't as well received as people expected, then it turns into "but but it's just polarizing some like it some hate it"
oh no doubt..usually if I'm let down by a movie I'm just gonna say I was let down by a movie, thats why I try not to have any expectations for a movie..i hope this one doesn't disappoint me

Man i followed prometheus for like 2 years, before it even had an official name and before rewrites. I was so hype for the movie and it was a letdown, although i still think it's a very good(enjoyable) movie just not what i was expecting.oh no doubt..usually if I'm let down by a movie I'm just gonna say I was let down by a movie, thats why I try not to have any expectations for a movie..i hope this one doesn't disappoint me

just to clarify here
with it's flaws and all, I fukking love that movie. I really wish they had kept the original script though, it explained things a lot more clearly and was a direct prequel, Ridley fukked up big time there, but I love the ancient astronaut story. Although I have to say, if Fassbender had not been in it I would've liked it CONSIDERABLY less. His performance elevated that movie a lot.

Yea i love the movie, first bluray i purchased. Even just adding certain deleted scenes would have made the movie much better. The butchering of the movie's story is the number one reason i'll never watch anything that damon lindelof is attached to. Never again, guy is a hack.
