More like some people who would of ranked this great film if it's NOT Nolan, but because it is Nolan he's expect to how zero flaws or they overhyped themselves and felt let down. The funny thing is that people who rank it low dislike it for the same reasons why people rank it high. So, basically, it's how you go into the movie.

if this movie stinks it will only serve to strengthen what I deduced after MoS, that Nolan is in a slump. TDKR had a air of so what and was rather mediocre, he was supposedly the architect that put the pieces together for man of steel and that trash speaks for itself. Can't wait to read how this pretentious looking preachy movie is received

Well Cameron doesn't count in part he's the one that started the movement, his reasons weren't for a quick cash boost in spite of it pushing Avatar to become the highest grossed film ever (and that's really due to the fact he revolutionized the technology) and he haven't made a film since. I was mostly speaking about studios in general.
