this shyt looks fukkin boring.

Ouside of DK* does anyone actually watch Nolan movies more than once? Dude makes the most humorless movies in the world and they have zero replay value.

also, Anne Hathaway in this is terrible news.

*i don't think I've actually watched The Dark Knight fully twice

what makes you say that? I have no idea what this movie is about - Matthew (a former astronaut...??) goes into space to look for an inhabitable planet for the human race??

i'm lost :heh:

Global weather calamity which would make the earth unsuitable for human civilization; so in a desperate attempt, the US and world leaders work decide to send an exploration team (NASA) into deep space to find another suitable planet for the human race (using experimental theories for wormholes probably), which MM is apart of (which he might be an expert physicist or geologist from the preview) and possibly learn the secrets of the universe and time on there way there .:yeshrug: That's just what I got from it, could be right or wrong though:yeshrug:, I'm a still see it in IMAX though.

That's just the basic PREMISE... aka the PLOT of the film. It does not give away anything beyond the basic plot. We dunno what's going to happen when he hits the other planet. We don't know what's happening at Earth or even why there's a global calamity to begin with. We definitely have zero clue on how this would end.

The fact you barely know the mere premise of the film suggests they did not.

Pump ya breaks Chris Nolan Jr., if you looked at the poster I quoted previously then you shouldn't get your panties up in a wad. :pachaha:

I think Nolan is brilliant film mind and for the most part I've enjoyed all his work. But the length's people go to defend his work is very sickening to me. You can enjoy someone's work without going overboard. Mind you it was Nolan Fans that sent death threats to critics cause they gave "The Dark Knight Rises" bad reviews. It's pretty pathetic.

He has a super hardcore fan base. More than any other director besides maybe Quentin Tarantino? Actually probably more, because Tarantino fans are quirky enough and have enough sense of humor to not insist that anyone who doesn't like his work is stupid.

Have you ever seen the Nolan fans forum? It's hilarious.

There are a ton f things about Nolan I love. I dig that he doesn't do 3D. I like that he tries to use live action, stunts work, and models as much as possible instead of CGI. I think he has some really creative ideas. I don't like the way he films fight sequences.

I think he films way too close into the action, to the point where it can be hard to see what's going on. I think the Bane vs. Batman fight scene was overrated. When he actually does back the camera up to show the action there are a LOT of blows that blatantly don't connect.

I wish he'd use blood. There are scenes he films where he literally doesn't even fore blanks. A gun will just point and then you'll hear the sound effect, and see someone fall down with no blood or squib at all.

My biggest criticism of Nolan is sometimes I feel his films lack a certain emotion that great directors before him can convey. This film seem to be his most emotional yet. Also Nolan action sequences could use work.
