I have no idea what direction he's trying to take with this

but I've seen EVERY Christopher Nolan project... and I have 0 doubts in his ability to tell a story and make that shyt interesting.

He's the gawd of this shyt right now.. I'm in day 1.
nolan is da gawd

he has tons of really good-great flicks

i'm hoping this is THE flick of his career.

most great directors have a flick you'd consider putting in your top 10..idk if nolan has that as great as he's been the past decade +

Funny.. When I think about it I don't know if he has a movie that I would put in my top ten (although I loved Memento)

But he definitely inspires me to write

Looks like a bunch of maudlin nonsense. Epic. But epic maudlin nonsense.

So Chris Nolan sends a farmer into space and everyone is all like ":ohhh:" but when Michael Bay sends a ragtag crew of oil riggers into space it's all "This movie makes no fukking sense :camby:"

At least we're finally seeing some footage of the 'interstellar' stuff. I remember the first trailers which were just McConaughey talking to his kids and/or driving around a desert and motherfukkers were like "Nolan does it again!" :gladbron:

And I'm sure I've said it before but I've got more faith in this than past Nolan projects (Inception, which has zero replay value to me, and TDKR, which was just bad) because it's written by his brother who has always been at the heart of Nolan's best movies (Memento, The Prestige, TDK).

Even if the story is just decent, it seems the visuals will make up for it to push the movie to at least being very entertaining. At Comicon Nolan said 2001 was one of his main inspirations and you can tell. I'm in :blessed:

McConaughey going be sounding like Rust Cohle with that space mumbo jumbo :blessed:

Don't agree with people saying we don't know what the movie is about yet. I mean, from that trailer you can pretty much tell it's about finding either a new planet to inhabit or find a new source of power or something to help mankind out.

They gone need about 4 hours runtime to cover all that piff :owhew:

Same thing I was thinking. This looks like it can't be less than 3 hrs....and I'm fine with it :obama:

I agree... memento is my favorite of all his flicks. Inception has no replay value so really the last movie I really enjoyed from him was TDK. Hope he does deliver but I'm still somewhat doubtful of this flick.
