i don't think Chris Brown has been A-list mainstream relevant since the thing with Rihanna. Where he is now, putting out music for his core fans and being in that dancer bag, he can keep going for a while.

Any success or money he's gained after that ri ri beat down is a blessing. Dude is actually lucky he didn't do that shyt 5-10 years later when social media started to peak or he likely woulda been cancelled CANCELLED.

He's not selling albums like 5, 10 yrs ago

His last joint is it platinum?

I would say he is always going to be able to eat touring

Chris will always have the Black audience checking for him…

Think about it. He totally rebranded himself after he smacked Rihanna.

If Chris had kept making songs like “Kiss Kiss” and Excuse Me Miss, his career would have died and he would have been typecasted like Bow Wow and many others.

Dude hooked up with Tyga, started infusing more Hip Hop in his songs, and the rest is history.

Chris puts out a 20 track album and folks didn’t cop it….

Dude should do what Nelly did and release 2 albums in one day and in this case, 3

If you can perform on stage you will always remain relevant. Add to the fact that there aren't other dancing/singing musicians on his level since 05, then you get your answer.
This 100%.

Being able to put on a show is how so many ol skool acts continue to stay relevant. My homegirl has a coworker (white) whose parents spent $$$$$ to see The Eagles..maybe last year.

Honestly feels like the evolution of a performer. You get your big break, sign a record deal and then start putting out music. Get to the point where your catalog is so impressive that people don't care if you have new hits or not. MJ or Prince, if still alive, wouldn't have to make another new song.
