A lot of yall may not own homes but shyt like that affects the whole neighborhood when it comes to the most important aspect of owning a home, and that's property value. You'll be surprised how one odd ass house or neighbor that doesn't keep his yard up can bring down the value of the entire neighborhood. That's important when it comes to things like appraising a home and the equity you have built up, even trying to sell or even trying to mortgage your home.

You can do whatever on the interior, but not the exterior. Some communities won't even let you paint your house before checking in with them.
