does this sound like a man being deprived of getting the rock in the paint and going to work?:patrice:

sounds like he's perfectly content with being rasheed wallace and jacking up threes the rest of his career

but this is lebron's fault right?:sas2:

:dwillhuh: Of course it's because of Lj's system. Bosh never “banged” consistently. He was a mid-range jump shooter and no matter what shot he takes, he's getting significantly less of them than he ever did. Moreover, he never said, “I don't like playing in the paint”, as your misleading title claims. There's more to playing in the paint than posting up. Lj's game shows you that, as he's an average, at best, post player, which is why he primarily dunks and does layups. Your title is like saying he doesn't like easy baskets (:stopitslime:).

so bosh would have played the same way with a Kobe/Phil jackson lead Lakers squad?

Hell, kobe could teach post moves and bron is bigger than kobe. What type of post footwork can the king help bosh with?

Pau has been accused of playing soft and going out like a bytch with a Kobe/Phil Jackson led Lakers squad on more than one occasion. :yeshrug: I don't recall that ever being attached to Kobe/Phil except for as a way to shift blame from them. What good are post moves if you are too soft to go in the post? :mjlol:

that's my thing. if you refuse to bang in the paint to save energy on offense, you better be busting your ass on defense, crashing the boards and swatting away everything in sight.

then again this is the same guy who complained in year 1 of the big 3 experiment that coach wanted them to work hard but he just wanted to "chill":sas2:

But Lj gets a pass for his horrid defense because it so called takes the energy needed for offense? Kobe or Jordan never got these excuses.

@ the 2 alleged superstars lebron teamed up with, one is :flabbynsick: and the other is:yawn:

:laff:at the notion that Lj got 2 rings by himself. When Wade could no longer carry him (or chose not to because he's tired of Lj), and when Bosh could no longer help him because of the lack of touches (or chose not to because he's tired of Lj) he got smashed and disappeared in most the quarters he played in.

you bringing up something he said 3 years ago....this thread is based off a bosh quote from last month:stopitslime:

after riding lebron's coattails to 2 rings, getting married, having kids and enjoying miami life, the man is obviously content with where he is in life and has no desire to ever be a main option or do dirty work ever again.

not only that, he can hide in the shadows when shyt hits the fan. the heat just got they ass beat in the Finals and which player is taking the brunt of the blame? hint: it's not bosh:sas1:

How they ridin' his coattails with the disappearing acts he pulled in this season's Finals and in the 2011 Finals, and when they nearly lost to old Boston because Bosh was hurt?

"I don't like playing in the paint. It takes up too much energy":troll:

Nothing absolves him from not being aggressive, the point is that they totally ignored ("they" is including Bosh himself) what was needed for them to be more effective; Bosh in the paint vs. Bosh stretched out shooting 3's. Bron is supposed to be a floor general, right :sas1:? So put your personnel where they can be most effective . Bosh didn't do that because he wants to conserve energy :smh:, Spo didn't do it because he's a horrible coach and Bron didn't do it because it woudln't benefit his own style.......do we even need to mention Wade :usure:

Maybe if they spent less time yelling and emasculating Chalmers than directing that energy at Bosh to get in the paint, he would've gotten his ass in the paint and did what was needed:mjpls:

That is not a direct quote from Bosh. Never once did he say that. Playing in the paint and posting up are too different things.

Since he doesn't like to play on the low block, he needs to opt out and get the fukk out of Miami.:camby: We got too many spot up shooters on the floor without a single player in the paint to grab rebounds and this nikka is a want to be Rasheed Wallace. :mindblown:

Why would he need to leave Miami because of this? Miami is the one who told him to stand at the 3pt line, remember?

Kobe hasn't played fire D in 14 years...There is situational D that he does....Jordan was tenacious on D until about 91, and he became a situational on ball defender as well....

Bron has to play constant aggressive D in order for his team to have a chance....You can't give 100% on both ends like that for your whole career. No player has done it for their entire career.

And don't bring up defensive player of the year lists...Stern threw superstar names on there that didn't deserve it just to make the list look sexy
