I think he see's where there conversation has been going, so he's stepping up and taking responsibility for his own failures while at the same appeasing Bron, letting him know that it's not all on him.

With Miami, he's allowed to be lazy and coast (just like Wade). If he won't take it upon himself and play with heart and play where he's been the most effective, and the coach + the team leader won't demand it, he'll continue to do what he does now to the team's detriment. He's got his rings, the money, but if Bron went to him and told him what he needed, Bosh seems like the type to fall in line.
