It seems like you’re assuming that Benoit and Eddie started roiding after they made the big leagues, and did it to go to the next level on the card from there. And I do not think that’s what happened, especially with Benoit. He was clearly on roids in WCW, watching his old stuff in HD now

Yeah he was always on the juice, but got noticeably bigger in mid/late 1999 and somehow kept backing on more muscle even after the neck surgery.

Eddie in 1999 was spooky looking. His face was so gaunt. Yeah he was in great shape, but he looked unwell. Then he went the to the other extreme when he got fired from WWE and the change in his body from 1999-2003 is fukking wild, and he just kept going. At the end his frame looked like it had at least 70 pounds more than it should be able to carry. His arms/shoulders/traps/delts literally looked like they belonged on a dude 10 inches taller than him.

And Benoit was positively grotesque looking, just like Dynamite at his biggest. Those last 2-3 years he doesn't even look human. Their P4P strength ratios had to be absolutely insane.


It's pretty fukking telling that everyone who was closest with Benoit all immediately assumed he killed Nancy and the boy.

I had to watch Eddies ecw run to see the difference. He went from being malenko size to being 3x that size

Vince McMahon was always obsessed with men with big muscles. No other way for them to be superstars but be junkie addicts. VKM pushed them to destroy their organs. Wish they never signed in that hell hole in the first place
