The corny ass concept and angle Spike is using for this movie of this nature :beli:

And the old ass actors.....
This shyt look embarrassingly bad :snoop:

The cac hipster crowd & booshwah negros are gonna eat this shyt up though

And :heh: @ the elitism in this thread...implying you and Spike Lee know & understand more about what's going on in the streets...and what's behind the violence in the streets more than people that have to live that shyt everyday. And thumbing your nose at thier scust at the theme of the trailer because it doesn't resemble anything they living...from their vantage point...This shyt probably looks like an exploitive mockery of the pain & struggle they have to suffer thru on a day to day basis.

I'm gonna break bread when it come out...but still :beli:

Where's the cracka that put together the wire and the corner when you need him?

I think I'd rather trust the fact that Dave Chapelle, Angela Basset, John Cusack, Sam Jackson, and Teyonah Parris all said YES to the script rather than Lil Durk, Reese and some high school students who would rather the violence in their environment be glorified while they completely miss the point of fatalism in yet another hood drama so that they can forever reminisce over characters they deem cool such as "O-Dog"

Theyre not talking about glorification nikka, this is about accuracy and authenticity. This shyt is not chicago. For one, this nikka Spike got people rockin blue, red n orange bandanas n dressing like west coast nikkas.:usure:

Barely any bloods n crips in Chicago, the gangs dont dress like that rockin that old ass flannel n shyt:mjlol:. Chicago people all over my social media laughin at this shyt

It absolutely becomes glorification when the main point of fatalism is ignored and instead characters like O-Dogg are everyone's favorite and the internet is filled with gifs and memes of Caine teaching a kid how to hold a gun and O-Dogg shooting up a corner store.

You're so worried about flags and colors rather than the message just like Durk and Reese and the rest of these kids. You want authenticity head to world star
