This is why you don't run a team. :mjlol:

This is a dumb statement but my point is, they give the guy all this power, then fire him a year later? They should have never given him all of that power in the first place if they weren't committed to letting him build the team. Meanwhile Andy's got the Chiefs balling out with a limited QB.

He's a hack. Philly was dumb to sign him in the first place. Most college coaches don't fare well in the NFL. But to keep him after he tossed all the good players away for bum players and then losing badly would be dumb to keep him. He could only do worse not better.

I still believe in Chip's system, and wish we'd kept him for OC. No matter what people say, I think it works with the right QB/RB/OL group.

The problem was Chip's obsession to being The Man, and needing to buy the groceries and he couldn't handle "The Black" personality. He wanted to talk to educated brothers with slower speech and less bass in their voices. I don't think he was racist, just bigoted into wanting "intelligent" Blacks to run his system, and he couldn't compromise.

Knowing that he's also a narcissist, I'm very sure he had a lot of problems with personnel, whether players or front office, and used a lot of triangulation and gaslighting to assert his dominance. I'm sure after 2+ years of hearing the same kind of shyt, Lurie finally thought a move needed to be made to save the team.

It's no less than a fukking tragedy what happened here. We were VERY close to a Super Bowl team when Chip got here. I'm not going to give Andy Reid a pass, as he needed to be gone too. He never would run the ball, and it lead to a few great passing plays, some decent Shady runs, but it held the team back from its real potential.

Both a$$holes thought they were geniuses that could do no wrong with any kind of personnel (Andy ducking put a OL coach as his DC :mjlol:), and they quickly started making themselves the show, protected by a NFC East that was very competitive. Now it stinks for the year, and Chip got majorly exposed. But this team is a wreck, worst that the McDaniels shyt by far. :yeshrug:

Kind of wish Chip had to stay and fix it, but you know we all dreaded that he could fukk it up even worse. It's a lot easier to just pay off the rest of Kelly's contract, than be forced to pay angry free agents that Kelly refuses to use because he can't adjust a scheme a little bit and he keeps sorry ass QB's.

So 9 winning seasons, 4 NFC championship appearances, one super bowl appearance, all while Lurie cheap ass wasn't spending money on offense, and offering most of the talent on the team extensions as opposed to full blown new deals with big guaranteed money....aint enough for yall Eagles fans huh? :childplease:

Yall are the worst fans ever, and deserve a shyt product...... :krs:

The NFC East was trash when Reid had those first 4 NFC chip appearances. The eagles were favored in all those NFC Chip appearances and lost 3 of them :mjlol:
Soon as the NFC East improved the eagles became :flabbynsick: status until they lost ANOTHER NFC championship game they were favored in against the Cards in 08 :aicmon:
After that it was all down hill until the 4-12 year when his fat ass got fired.

You want eagles fans to celebrate some meaningless NFC Championship "appearances" from over a decade ago? :heh: ya dumb nikka
We ain't cowboys fans. thanks Andy for having us be hot shyt in 02-05 but it was time for him to go :camby:

You committed to him and give him 1 year to build the team? This is precisely why you don't give an unproven HC full control. Eagles are idiots. They got rid of Andy, then bring in Chip, give him full control and fire him after a bad season. :why:

If Eagles were smart they would see if the Ravens are willing to let John Harbaugh go. He started in Philly. I doubt the Ravens do it though.

Couldnt even wait until the end of the season :martin:

I'm an Eagles fan though, good riddance to that fakkit. Hope he doesnt pull a Belichick and win rings somewhere else
Wouldn't be surprised if he did. He's actually a pretty smart dude. If he can take a step back and look at everything. Make adjustments and come back, he could be successful.

He'll get another chance......but back to college for now.
