If you go on the team's message board, some of those CACs are saying that Shady and D-Jack brought it on themselves that they're no longer in Eagles green. No, it was because Chip was on some serious :mjpls: there. Some of them want their black players to be more Stephen than Django. Almost like they're apologetic for Kelly's pasty ass getting fired. I guess what finally tore it for Lurie was when Chip was like he's not the GM. I read that and had a :wtb: and :wtf: face at the same time. Everyone knew all the fukked up moves that the team made was because Chip had final say and was on his no nikka shyt hard. I know KKKooper and Billy Davis are like :to: cause they know after the final whistle on Sunday, their ass are :camby:

ive never seen so many people celebrating a firing, in and out of the city. its like even the rest of the country felt the pain of philly fans.

even the local tv anchors were taking shots at chip. i know i cant be the only one that watched "good day philadelphia" on FOX on like monday morning, before chip even got fired.

the cool ass white oldhead chris murphy was mocking chip like "i cant deal with strong black men. im a white guy from vermont."

:deadmanny:

Sorry Philly fans but this makes no sense. You give the man the keys to the team, let him construct the team the way he wants. Say "this is your team we have your back" and then after one season get rid of him? Why not pull him in say "you made this mess you better have a plan" and give him a second season WITH THE TEAM YOU LET HIM MAKE??!!

I could care less about the Eagles but this was stupid IMO. You don't give someone one season "to do it his way". Y'all might be happy now but this is some Dan Snyder shyt right here.

dog he had to go.

the players dont like him and the fans hate him.

even the tv anchors were dissin him.

I hear you but for everyone who was bytching they we're just in love wit him 11 months prior. Soon as he goes into next season and starts 4-2 they would love him again.

I don't agree with giving someone the keys and then saying "never mind bruh give them back".

this is exactly how i felt. but after listening to Lurie Chip deserved to go. The thing is Chip made VERY bold moves; bold transactions in terms abundance and magnitude. To me...Chip made his team. He went for Demarco and Bradford (giving up quite a bit in terms of cap space/picks to get them) , and then he let go of key offensive players such as Evan Mathis, Todd Herremans, Lesean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin and Desean Jackson in favour of folks like Josh Huff who simply did not measure up. I wont even get into the draft picks and defense over the last two years.

Chip Kelly bore the power so he must bore the brunt of the responsibility as well. He must own it. He had to go.z I wouldve been okay with him getting one more year to learn from his mistakes and rectify the situation but i understand the firing. Either way, Philly is gonna have to endure some adversity while trying to get back to prominence

alot of the city hates him for the desean & lesean fiascoes. ESPECIALLY black people.

its not just because he went 6-9. its bigger than that.

chip didnt even speak to most of the players. he had to go breh. only thing that wouldve bought him another year is if they made the playoffs.
