He going to be coaching next season and the Eagles will get an offensive lineman in the draft (if not two) and will possibly make the playoffs but everyone will say that their next coach deserves coach of the year.

Looks pretty bad on Lurie if anything.

Philadelphia media went to Chip's house. The Philly media even knows Chip's girlfriend's name and his dog's name

Only personnel for one and had 2 winning years

As i said I'm not a fan but he probably should have gotten another year

his 1 year with his guys was a disaster though

- embarrassed on national tv twice in the last 2 months (thanksigiving AND having a division rival celebrate a division championship on your field)
- 3 games gave up 40 points in losses, last game lost and gave up 38

- personnel moves - undeniable Ls in each one
bradford for foles and 2nd round pick... bradford is not bad, but id rather have a 2nd round pick over both :snoop:
mccoy for kiko... no explanation needed :snoop:
desean for NOTHING
maclin for NOTHING
even mathis and herremans CUT and didnt draft a oline player last draft :snoop:
boykin for 5h rounder - forced jenkins into the slot, making safties weaker... ed reynolds in not an nfl starter :snoop:

so much more to go through, but dont act like this firing wasnt desvered

Given the current state of coaching in the NFL...I would've given him more time. I'm not sold on him, but he's 26-21...so far from a disaster over 3 years.

But he'll be fine...if Jeff Fisher can somehow still have a job in the league he'll get another shot.

Dumping Mccoy's salary was actually a good thing...he cant stay healthy. The problem was giving that money to Murray, who sucks.

It's not an L at all though. Mccoy wanted a new contract which Buffalo was dumb enough to give to him. The most puzzling part of that move was then giving all of that money to Murray. Just going with Matthews and Sproles would have been fine. You can always find backs.
