Interesting, will come back to this as china likes to flout high-speed rail, rightfully so, but the components that really make this work are manufactured in Germany and Japan who hold IP and china hasn't had success copying them as they do for everything
Was just about to post this. China did make a switch to domestically made parts but can’t get parts as precise as those imported so now the high speed rail “shakes” when in use :francis:

People got to understand Chinese shyt isn't bootleg and janky anymore. they reached Japan's level where they can not only copy tech but improve on it. I'm listening to speakers from a Chinese company right now and they are the best speakers I've ever bought
I have some "Lenovo" headphones from TEMU that sound better and feel better in my ears than my Beats Studio Buds or my wife's Airpods

Not even kidding, I bought a Chinese textbook that was translated to English on Microelectronics.

Completely blew away the Microelectronics textbooks I was reading for class. So much less verbose and straight to the point. Also for $20 was x10 cheaper than the one’s our classes used.

None of the extra fluff or explaining solutions to problems that weren’t introduced yet that only confuses students. Didn’t need 80 pages to explain Feedback like the American textbook (and didn’t even explain it that well).

They’ve become hyper efficient in many areas.

Like how is the whole study group/class stuck on the same paragraph/page although your book is x15 longer to clear it up?

Yeah Chinese companies have come along way in terms of manufacturing quality. Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, etc make some nice electronics at super low prices. It's a shame the US government tried to hard to keep certain Chinese products out of the country...that added competition would be great for consumers.
Ya but we got union workers in manufacturing that need 30+ an hour so we can buy 100k trucks lol

union jobs always paid well so and people never use to complain about the cost of union built product and services until their own wages were depressed. can't be made at them.

The Chinese are highly technocratic and innovative, high speed rail is a smart type of transportation and should be available in every major city
Safety record of their rail system in horrible and they have virtually unused train routes between severally underpopulated cities.

Much of their rail infrastructure is nothing more than overly ambitious halo projects for the purpose of delaying their stalling economy.
