Not just the tech companies.
Retail in general relies heavily on importing these cheap goods.
Clothing. Shoes. Electronics. fukk. Even VEHICLES !
Anywhere they could cut costs they did and republicans allowed them to do so under the guise
of the American people getting a cut of those increased profits.
What happened is many towns were hollowed out as manufacturing jobs disappeared and the void was
filled with McDonald's, Applebee's, Walmart etc. where they pay slave wages and rely on government programs
to subsidize their lives (WIC, Food Stamps, Medicare etc.)

Some folks have co-opted ADOS into a nativist movement, but there are lingiistic, geographical, cultural, and even biological differences between us and other "black" people. Additionally, outside of America, black Americans are seen as American before they are seen as black. I know the history of West v East, but that's a moot point. Black Americans are seen as "western" outside of the west.
