They did a teardown of a Huawei phone last year, it turned out it was using a lot of Chinese parts, and they didn't have access to advanced chips. The expectation was they'd find parts that aren't that advanced. They were wrong

They've flipped the script and now WE are the opium addicts that will get so beaten down with stupidity and cynicism that we can't unite and elect serious people and make the kind of big changes we need to make to maintain strength in this century.
