This is one of those movies that is just utterly shyt in many ways, but somehow still manages to be enjoyable. All the jokes are dumb as fukk, the kills needlessly complicated for no goddamn reason and you could punch a thousand holes through the script, but it brings fukkery and fukkery is always entertaining.
They also got the best possible voice actor in Mark Hamill to replace Brad Dourif, of course that should be obvious but he truly is one hell of a great voice actor.

This movie was dreadful.
The changes to the concept, the goofy script, the lame ass kills.
The only shot this movie had to be even barely serviceable was to rip off the Stranger Things vibe but the people behind this movie were even too stupid to see that.
And on a purely aesthetic level that fukking doll's design was hideous. I mean even before it became homicidal the fukking thing was pure nightmare fuel.
Nobody in their right mind would have bought that creepy looking doll and have it staring at them 24/7 with that grotesque face.

There were times i had to separate Charles Lee Way from the A.I. Chucky because some stuff was just like
For starters, Chucky 2.0 looked like a mini Mark Hamill. When I looked at it, I saw Mark Hamill’s features mixed in with the original Chucky features.
They lowkey left it open for a sequel but I hope they don’t have too since they are doing the TV show with the ORIGINAL Chucky and creators.
However I would pay TOP dollar for a commentary track with Mark Hamill and Brad Doriff watching the “Child’s Play” remake in character. That shyt would be

2nd of all giving him “feelings” was a mistake. You actually felt for him because all he wanted to do was be loyal to Andy and legit be his friend. Especially when Andy was screaming at the world and wanted his mom’s bf to “go away” so he granted his wish 
He felt the cat was annoying...Chucky
The first 3 kills you didn’t really care about the victims because they were legit a$$holes and were lowkey asking for it.
So when Andy betrayed him you lowkey felt for him.
I even caught myself going “Aww..why do him like that
” Then I would snap out of it like “

”
