Agreed, I remember seeing something on TV a long time ago about some people that were pedo's (One woman, which I just never think of as pedo) and dude was literally crying balling talking about how he's just going to get himself castrated so he doesn't have the urges. Another that was talking about how he knows how sick it is and how he wakes up disgusted with himself every morning. It was really interesting and made the think of it in a whole different light, its still sick and disturbing. But its a legit sickness, but like you said I'm sure there levels like anything else.



Honestly I dont know, but I dont think those that feel they are legit sick with this problem and haven't committed a crime should be tossed in the same bucket as the rest. I don't know if treatment is possible or not, I can't even begin to understand how they're thought process or mind works.

I just don't think we should let them back into society. Some crimes are unforgivable. Although I think it's a mental disorder I'm not sure that people are born with it. I haven't done any research on this but my hypothesis is that something happened to them in their life that triggered this urge. Do anyone know if there has been any peer reviewed studies on this?
