exactly,Reading this thread makes me realize that a lot of people have never even stepped foot in the inner city before and believe what they hear in the music or tv. The majority of people who live in the hood are good, respectable people, decent working class families making a living. A lot of people were born & raised there and cant see themselves moving to the burbs and living amongst people who dont look like them. Then you have the people who hate it living there and cant afford to move, but once they come up on some paper, they bounce and dont look back. Then, you have the ratchets and hoodrat n!ggas who partake in the sh!t you see on Channel 2 and front page of the paper - they'll never leave.
That small segment of n!ggas glorify that bs, but not everybody is on that.
I can tell a lot of these people are from small towns or the burbs or something...I lived in the hood up until 4 yrs ago and for the most part, most people in my neighborhood (on the west side of Chicago) were good hard working people that couldnt afford to move else where. Yea there were gangs and ratchet bytches but like they always say, an empty wagon makes the most noise.
