What is the question exactly? Are La Eme and different Mexican DTO's in alliance, directly and indirectly? Namely Knights Templar. (Which may have been shortsighted as they are in complete free fall.) Yes. Is it a top down seamless hierarchy? No. Branches of MS13 down south..south, south, have been said to have links to branches of Mexican DTO's, Sinaloa, namely, operating in places like El Salvador and Honduras. La Eme has less then 150 members/associates…but they have a lot of influence inside. So, they can control sections of gang neighborhoods, because everyone makes a stop inside eventually. Putting local gangs on the payroll is 101. Wherever you end up with criminals looking to move work, get work done, whatever….theres going to be an interlinking. A lot of sureneos may have a cousin or an uncle with a direct line south. A lot don't. So you get a line on the work, and maybe you get a request to get something done. Favor for a favor. Swap it out. The game is a lot more subcontracting then one might think, no one wants to get there hands in it, and the ones usually running around wanting to talk about who they run with, or who they work for, or either working for the 'others' or soon to be cooperating with them. A

As far as Chicago, the gangs aren't directly controlled by cartels. They might outsource some work, some contracts to some hitters, I read a story about a roofing crew in Chicago that moonlighted as 'collectors' for some people down theres…but they aren't pricking any fingers or burning any cards. It's just business. Look at the biggest or some of the biggest movers Chi has ever seen, the snitching Flores brothers, who weren't heavy gang people, just another Mex family from Little Village, with hands in the street and fam in Sinaloa. And gangs are more or less organized crime..maybe slightly less organized is a good term. It works almost the same, a pyramid. And the 'OG's' are the ones racking up paper, while the young knuckleheads move the rocks or pass bad checks or pimp out runaways and girl chasing the dream…

Anyone looking to get a real, black/white idea of how the Chicago gang/drug cartel/drug business works, and has an hour or so, read this complaint. It's all there.

"for starters"? That's disingenuous and you know it. Anyone else other than that mook?
Read this, this guy does a good job of summing it up:The Iceman Lieth | Swallowing The Camel
Oh and by the way, Bucceroni posted there.:heh:

Now here's the real story behind the Iceman legend:
Like I said, Kuklinski was a street guy. A killer, but not associated with the mob, and certainly not doing hits for them. He partnered up with other street guys and then killed them and tookover their businesses. That's how he made a living. Anyway, after he got arrested and prosecuted in the 80s he landed in the Trenton prison, NJ. There were a lot of mobsters in Trenton, and one of them was Robert "Bobby Cabert" Bisacia. Cabert was the inspiration behind Joe Pesci's characters in Goodfellas and Casino. Pesci knew Cabert and coppied his mannerisms with permission. He was a very dangerous guy. Anyway, Kuklinski became Cabert's errand boy after a few years.

Now Cabert got life for a murder based on Sammy Gravano's testimony. So the "Iceman" legend was nothing more than Cabert's attempt for freedom. I'll explain how: People started taking an interest in Kuklinski's nickname(which was given to him by a coronor without knowing who he was, he never used that name on the street) and Cabert encouraged to portray himself as a mob hitter. And one of the murders he was supposed to take claim for is a corrupt cop Peter Calabro. Kuklinski was supposed to say that he killed Calabro on the orders of Sammy Gravano. Why? The plan was to get Gravano implicated in a murder he didn't tell the Feds about. If he didn't tell te Feds about it that means it's out of his deal for immunity, which means he can get convicted for it. If Gravano gets convicted that opens the door for anyone who was put in jail on his testimony to appeal and get a retrial. Including... Bobby Cabert!

Anyway, the plot failed, but Kuklinski, who got life no parole starts liking the attention and his reputation as a big bad hitman and starts exaggerating more and more. He starts taking credit for infamous mob murders like Lilo Galante, Jimmy Hoffa(lol), Paul Castellano and Roy DeMeo. If he lived a few more years he would have took credit for JFK, Abe Lincoln and Julius Caesar, lol.:heh:

And that's it. As the saying goes, the truth is stranger than fiction. What I told you comes straight from "the horse's mouth". You can accept it or not, it makes no difference to me. But I won't argue the point any longer, and this is not the place for mafia debates.
So first you try to discredit him then you use him to try to add credibility to that link:stopitslime:Bucceroni postin there don't mean shyt since he disagreein wit that dude and co-signin Kuklinski workin wit DeMeo. You actin all knowin when your source is some random blogger who admits he just assumin things and like you even discredits his own sources "In Selwyn Raab’s Five Families, his name is given as “Kukinski”. This might say more about Raab than it does about Kuklinski, but isn’t it curious that a journalist who followed Mafia affairs for the New York Times for a quarter of a century had never heard of the guy?" he knew none of the people involved and got the least credibility of anybody. The police even agree that the Iceman was involved wit the mob and obviously the mafia ain't gonna acknowledge it publicly, other than Kuklinski "the horse's mouth" would be DeMeo or Castellano and you didn't know either of those dudes so:sitdown:

Chicago shootings: 9 dead, at least 35 hurt since Friday night | abc7chicago.com

pril 21, 2014 (CHICAGO) -- Easter weekend was no holiday from violence, with shootings claiming the lives of nine across Chicago and leaving 35 wounded, including five children Sunday night.

The five children were shot about 7:40 p.m. in what appeared to be a drive-by shooting in the 6600 block of South Michigan Avenue, authorities said.

An 11-year-old girl in serious-to-critical condition and a 15-year-old girl in fair-to-serious condition were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, according to Fire Media Affairs.

Another 14-year-old girl later walked into Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center with a graze wound to her buttocks, police said.

The most recent fatal shooting happened Sunday afternoon, and left two men dead in South Lawndale.

About 1 p.m., an orange Hummer blocked a Lincoln Navigator head-on at the corner of 28th Street and Sawyer Avenue, Chicago police at the scene said. Two people with guns then stepped out of the Hummer and fired nearly a dozen bullets at the Navigator, right under a police "blue light" camera.

A 13-year-old boy who lives near the scene said he saw part of the shooting happen from inside his home. Both people in the Hummer had white masks on, he said, and after the shooting, someone drove the vehicle south on Sawyer Avenue.

Police were searching for the Hummer.

The Navigator drove off and was later found at the corner of 24th Street and Kedzie Avenue, police at the scene said.

A 32-year-old man - identified as Juan Ocon - in the Navigator suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:26 p.m., according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. A second man, 19-year-old Timmy Bermudez, was shot in the chest and was pronounced at Mount Sinai Hospital less than 20 minutes later. Police said they were still unsure if more than two people were shot.

Saturday morning, two teens who were found dead in an apartment building. They were killed over a dispute that played out on Facebook, according to the mother of the one of the victims.

Jordan Means, 16, and 18-year-old Anthony Bankhead were found dead just after 10:30 a.m. Saturday in an apartment in the 8200 block of South Houston Avenue on the South Side, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office. An autopsy revealed they were both shot in the head.

"An argument led to this, that's crazy," said Camille Cochran, 42, Jordan Means' mother. "Now, I don't have my son no more."

She said Means was her baby - the youngest of her three kids. He was a sophomore at Bowen High School, liked to play basketball and was a ladies man, she said.

Chicago police were questioning someone Sunday but could not provide any other details about the person.

Means lived less than a block from the South Chicago neighborhood basement apartment where the shooting happened. Friends gathered there Saturday night. Candles illuminated pools of blood left by the shooting.

In the other fatal shootings:

- A Chicago police officer and her husband, a Cook County sheriff's correctional officer, were found dead about 5 a.m. Sunday in their Southwest Side home Sunday in what appears to be a murder-suicide, authorities said.

- A 43-year-old man was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds around 9:30 a.m. Saturday in an alley in the 2900 block of West Flournoy Street, police said.

- Nicholas Ramirez, 19, of the 3900 block of South Rockwell Street, was found shot to death around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of West Hubbard Street. Two vehicles had been involved in a chase on Ashland Avenue, police said. The vehicle driven by the victim eventually hit two other vehicles in the 1600 block of West Hubbard before crashing into a concrete median. A man then fired into the crashed vehicle before driving off east on Hubbard, according to the police, who said Ramirez died after being shot in the head and a leg.

- Trevolus Pickett, 20, of the 8300 block of South Dorchester Avenue, was shot to death Friday night on the West Side in a gangway in the 5200 block of West Congress Parkway in South Austin. He was shot in the head around 11:15 p.m. Friday and pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital at 12:05 a.m.

The most recent non-fatal shooting occurred at 12:25 a.m. in the South Side Washington Heights neighborhood, when a 23-year-old man was shot in a vehicle in the 9500 block of South Loomis Street, police said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.

Nearly three hours earlier, a 15-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. The girl was a passenger in a car in the 1700 block of North Pulaski Road about 9:40 p.m. Sunday when three males crossed the street, flashed gang signs and fired shots at the vehicle.

The girl was taken to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in "stable" condition with a gunshot wound to her back, police said.

The Easter egg-collecting girls in the park were asked about gang affiliations and then shot before they could reply.
11-Year-Old Chicago Girl Shot In Face During Drive-By After Gunmen Asked If She Was In Gang | Welcome to Kollegekidd.com

A task force of prosecutors was formed on April 1st in Chicago. The govt attorneys will figure out how to fight gun crime in Chicago using FEDERAL statutes. (It is not state troopers or the national guard. Just the state attorney general trying to go in that direction?)
Chicago Tribune
Purported Chicago street guys who saw the tv news report tweeted today that "the Feds" are coming to interfere with their traffic. :-P

God has them conversations with people all the time and I bet you his reaction is :beli:

Especially when these rappers swore (or really, lied) about their harsh realities when they were alive and have to face the maker himself.

She was just 17, a charter school graduate. But little Gakirah Barnes was also purported to have killed two in tit-for-tat gang violence now being celebrated by the recording industry.
She was called “Lil Snoop” by one friend, after the fictional female assassin in the TV show The Wire.

Mostly, 17-year-old Gakirah Barnes was known as “K.I.” in the real life and death world of Chicago gangs.

And as K.I., she became a kind of mythic figure in social media, a diminutive gap-toothed girl gunsel who was nobody’s bi*ch. She was purported to have killed at least twice avenging murdered friends, the first time when she was just 14.

After she herself was killed on April 11, an array of disturbing photos appeared on Instagram of her brandishing a variety of firearms, looking at once like a young girl and exactly like the “shootah” she was said to be.

“I only fw k.i. Cuz she do wat Yu bi*ch ni**as scared too do !” a senior member of her Fly Boy Gang tweeted before her death.
