Is the Westside and Maywood as dangerous as the Southside?

Not at all. K-town, the Garfields, and parts of Austin can get bad but mostly at night besides on certain areas in Ktown which normally be full of cops nowadays. Maywood is too unless u are consistently walking on 17th from st Charles to Roosevelt asking for it. I don't even drive through Englewood unless I'm on Dan Ryans. Its really that dangerous there but I also have no reasons going there.

Homestly Latin Kings are everywhere lol, i know them and La Razas Are mostly Little Village, Archer heights, Cicero, Logan Square and around those areas. The ones I now I have no clue what they are doing but act tough occasionally. shyt do pop off in Little Village"South Lawndale" at times.

Chicago is not LA, blacks dominate "gangland" so to speak, more than anything because of the sheer numbers, southside Chicago (which is a HUGE section of the city in terms of population/land area, at least 50%) has been majority black since like the 1900s, perhaps even earlier. Then you add that with the gun culture that exists like nowhere else, and on top (and most importantly) Chicago nikkaz are organized as good as any military. The type of organization that exists with Chicago nikkaz you can only find in Italian mobs/Chinese tongs/etc. You can imagine the Southside to be a BIG AZZ Jamaica Queens or Inglewood, CA or Carol City, Miami and you get the picture You do see a lot of mexicans moving in, perhaps if they become more organized they may be a threat, but I doubt it because the money is in the black neighborhoods.

Interesting and thanks. Just trying to learn more about Chicago gang culture. And yeah I also heard Chicago gangs are more organized compared to other city gangs.

Westside gangs are more focused on the money "a lot of herion addicts here" and the southside ones are the ones are more in tune with the violence, retaliation, ect. The fact that they take pride of resorting to murders ,it increases their reputation with the media. And plus Chief keef and them ate popping lol
