This is why I said it's hard to believe what the Police "say" happened. Just saw a pic which actually looks like he was scaling a fence when he was shot.

I never, EVER, take the "what about Black on Black crime" route. But that was the FIRST thing I thought when I saw the entire hood out protesting. All I could think and wonder is if they get up and protest like this when all them n!ggas get gunned down by other n!ggas so far this year in the Chi. Now, I know that there's been sprinkles of lil "rallies for peace" here and there, but not like this. There's NEVER this level of outrage and disgust.

He was 16 and had his whole life ahead of him to correct whatever mistakes he made as a teen. What, was he some kind of ax murderer or somethin? Obviously he wasnt some irredeemable thug if there are people willing to hold a candlelight vigil for him in his memory. Did you know him as a person?

Half of me feels sorry for the kid, getting shot hopping a fence. No excuse.

The other half knows it would've only been a matter of time before he would've been busting at somebody else, missed, and killed some other innocent teen who DID have a bright future ahead of them.

Point me to the articles so I can read them. While your at it, take the dildo out of your ass puto. No cop lover here. I detest them even moreso than gangs. So now what? I more than understand some kids are born into shytty families, but that doesn't excuse their actions either considering lots of kids come from the same backgrounds and make better choices because of it, instead of using it as an excuse. I know first hand, I have a dumbshyt sister who always blames the system, but doesn't want to work, chose not to finish school, and ended up having two kids by two different dudes. Lets stop excusing behavior that is detrimental to society just because they are from the hood. Of course we wouldn't, and rightfully not. Matter fact, do you even know why we protest when these things happen?
We EXPECT gang bangers to act like gang bangers. What we don't expect is for COPS to act like gang bangers; behavior which only seems to happen to a certain segment of the population. We don't elect officials who promise us safety and accountability, only for those things to be denied to us when we're black.
