due to segregation. Chicago is the not segregated city in America, so there is basically a million black ppl living amongst each other on the south and west side. I went years without seeing any white ppl other than crackhead, teachers and police. That's why that c00ning and blavity black shyt is foreign to me. you really lived a black experience seeing black ppl everywhere you go from every walk of life. nikkas in other cities be living next door to cacs and shyt and get watered down. All the c00n nikkas here are suburban nikkas (Kanye) or hopeless dusty street nikkas. The average black person from Chicago ain't for none of that

Most of the big and moderately-sized Midwest cities are segregated in the same way.
Milwaukee, Cleveland, Detroit, Columbus, etc. the same kind. Even on the East Coast, Brownsville and Baltimore have entire swathes of ethnic homogeneity, where damn near everyone but your doctors and teachers (not even that all the time) are Black, and the whole city has 30s level segregation
It helps that the Great Migration was to those specific cities, because you'll oft-have direct generational ties to Mississippi, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama.

If you got a car then you not that poor; my dad grew up with no water no lights and holes in the roof in Coffeeville AL. I still got cousins who love back there and a couple never seen a smart phone. People in cities have no idea what poverty is like in the country.

I lived quite a few places and Chicago is the only city where Black people have zero tolerance for blatant cac bullshyt. Cacs here know it too, for that reason, I have rarely experienced non-institutional racism my 6yrs here. When I travel, its hella hard for me to turn the other cheek with cacs. I'm just not used to their bullshyt anymore. Crazy thing is, native Black Chicagoans think its very racist here lol, I'm like y'all have no idea! Also Chicago is a city of activist- people living in crime ridden communities are always out protesting. Thats why I get so mad when outsiders say we need to do more about the crime.
