Police are also knocking some of these cats off. It wouldn't be suprising if crooked cops are instigating this violence to some degree.

I 100% believe this is happening all over the country in low income areas, cops can literally go and kill whomever they want and Black people will take the blame by default.

We're not in a position to have our cake and eat it too, unfortunately we have to live by a code but too many Black people feel like they shouldn't have to because "that's not fair".

Compare current chicago to 1990 chicago (year I was born ) huge difference fam
That's was 26 or whatever years ago.

Every city was more turnt back in the 90's than right now. L.A. had like 1,000 homicides not including Compton and shyt and NYC had like 2,500.for a few years

Chicago gonna end up like Gary or East St. Louis

:stopitslime: nikka please. Gary was a one industry town. Damn near everybody in GI worked at US Steel or Inland Steel. When they automated the factories in the 70s everybody lost they job. That shyt crushed the economic base up there. That's why it looks like it does, cuz it ain't no opportunities. You either work at the casinos or you driving to Chicago for work. Ain't no other options. Ain't even a whole bunch of options on the streets either. It's basically Vice Lords or nothing. They don't have that every other few blocks is a different gang type shyt Chicago has. And they still got that gang culture up there heavy so it ain't no free lancing if you trying to make some moves in the streets. You rocking with the gang or you not gonna eat shyt.
Chicago will never end up like Gary. It's impossible. Gary not even as bad as it used to be either. After the 80s thru early 2000s it ain't nobody left to kill or beef with like it used to be. Yeah they still have drama but no where near as bad as back in the day. shyt is a ghost town. Don't let them Cacs fool you breh. Them folks who tired of paying them high ass Illinois taxes steady creeping over the state line to plop they ass down in NWI. That shyt still look bombed out but it's starting to turn the corner. They already opening up hipster shyt like craft breweries and coffee shops out there in Miller. It's only a matter of time before some get brave and venture west and south from there.

miller is the ONLY nice part of gary. but there are nice areas in hammond and whiting just over the state line. I wouldn't live out in NWI personally, but it's certainly an alternative.

I could do NWI possibly. Only problem is ain't shyt to do out there. Portage got some shyt but them cacs out there heavy on that :mjpls: tip. I'd have to probably stay in the house at night. Damn sure ain't shyt to do in Gary so I'd be driving to the Chi to hang out and pulling up to the house late at night ain't really that smart in GI. That shyt ain't bad as it used to be but night time in Gary is still the wolves play ground. Them couple seconds walking from the whip to the front door would be hazardous to your health and I'm pretty sure someone would lay on me and try to run my shyt eventually. Even tho Indiana got them lax gun laws I really don't want to be put in that situation of having to draw down on somebody who drew down on me. Some shyt like that would basically be like flipping a coin. That situation could go either way

the bolded is :duck:

businesses are not leaving the city. matter of fact, they are relocating from the suburbs into the loop. the reason best buy closed is cuz brick and mortar electronic stores are antiquated as hell for the most part. and when it comes to tourism, chicago is actually having no trouble finding a shytload of tourist to visit despite all the fukkery.
It's obvious you and Barnett are not from Chicago and lived 30 miles away. In Lincoln park down Clark you see FOR RENT all up and down Clark. All up and down roosevelt all up and throughout wicker park tf is yall talking about? Businesses that was booming last year. These threads are pointless because you have nerds or old people from the burbs who have no idea what's going on who think they know everything. Who have never spend one day in the hood in their life. Lol.

I'm talking about huge corporations. google just built an office over off lake street and morgan I believe (I can't remember the exact street). kraft/nestle just moved their HQ from the northwest burbs to downtown. As did conagra foods, motorola and hillshire farms. and my old job for a large group of hospitals (with 20K total employees) relocated their HQ from des plaines to an office on wacker.

the fact of the matter is the south loop is booming population wise, and they're already talking about building a bunch more homes just south of roosevelt just east of the river near tom ping park and building a new school in the south loop because south loop elementary school is BEYOND capacity. companies are moving downtown because the young employees won't take jobs out in the northwest or west suburbs. they wanna live and work downtown.

FYI, I used to live in west englewood, so I know a little more than what u think.

its over with in Chicago, Im glad i got out when i did. I heard cops say that they are going to start retiring when the fbi started to investigate cpd. And everything those cops said is happening. Police are not responding to calls, its just not enough officers, and its too many corrupt people in power now. You telling me they cant solve ANY of these murders and shootings, when all they have to do is look on facebook but they can find the 2 people that robbed this white hoe? lmao
Pair charged with robbery, brutal beating of DePaul freshman on CTA train

and i always knew that once those crimes hit up north it would be a WRAP, white people are getting killed and robbed left and right now. And if youre from the city, then you already know that allot of businesses all over from best buys to local restaurants are leaving. All of those millionaires are taking everything, tourist attraction districts are starting to look empty now.
it was only so long they could oppress people and they did it too much.
idk why but when ferguson popped off i knew chicago would be next. its about to be like the dark knight up there THIS year.

and tariq is right about chicago, im from ground zero and grew up with the people thats doing allot of this stuff, all they need is jobs, hope and support really. but noone will hire us, so its karma now

Hmmm...this sounds just like what happened in Detroit after the 1967 riots, the burned the city down, 50 years later Detroit has a white mayor and the city is being gentrified from the river to the blvd.
