The only way I can see carjackings to stop is if we start installing software on our cars to shut them off. Use your phone or key fob to send some type of signal to the car in a 1 mile radius and it shuts off immediately. Make it hard to hack. I would argue the majority of cops are just regular folk trying to do their best job and get home alive. But i do agree many police departments are being run by defacto white supremacists. Those people need to be rooted out and eliminated by any means. Whole sale dismantling of police so criminals can run with free reign like Chicago is NOT the wave.

The situation is much more nuanced. These people got kicked out the projects and spread a massive crime wave across the Midwest. People moved out to the public housing in places like Iowa. I'm here to tell you, don't be surprised if a Chicago nikka shoots you in Iowa.

It's a culture thing, on top of poverty. Simply removing someone from the poverty but allowing them to idolize and look up to gang culture inevitably keeps them in the same mind frame.

What they should do is make a law where everybody has to roll all windows down when pulled over. Best for the owner and cop's safety.

But it is poverty. Crime has a direct correlation to poverty. This is what happens when you herd a bunch of poor people into overpacked areas with limited resources, little to no jobs, no education prospects, no trade prospects, and easy access to drugs and guns. It's a system that's working how it was designed to work. I feel very uncomfortable seeing people on the Coli make posts like this, insinuating that this MUST be something else...perhaps the moral failings of "our people." In reality these people are stuck in a trap.

From what I've gathered a lot of it is due to criminals being arrested and released too quickly just for them to go back commit more crimes. I'll use the analogy of the behavior problem kid who gets kicked out of class and sent back before he is completely rehabilitated and ready to function in class. Same concept instead now we're dealing with hardened criminals.
